I'm going to throw a slab fresh meat to the "conspiracy" theorists whose official Glenn Beck tinfoil hats are too tight.
SEIU Don...er, uh, head honcho Andy Stern has been named by Chairman Barack Obama to his new deficit commission, according to the Associated Depressed. If you'll go back to the rather boring State of Confusion Address, you'll recall that Chairman Obama used an executive order to create this commission, since it was killed in the Imperial Senate.
Um, out of normal and healthy curiosity, what makes him qualified for this ? More importantly, how much power does this give him ? And, just to be fair, WHERE THE HELL IS THE UNITED STATES SENATE ? WILL THERE BE ANY SORT OF OVERSIGHT ON THIS ? WILL THERE BE ANY CONFIRMATION OF THIS APPOINTMENT ?
On paper, a deficit commission looks like the right thing to do, but like everything else our Dear Leader proposes, it secretly sucks, pardon my language. How can we have someone who is in bed with the Artists Formerly Known As ACORN in any sort of position of authority over any thing ? The last time I checked, until FOX News rooted them out, SEIU and The Artists Formerly Known As ACORN shared the same spooky hideout in a former Louisiana funeral home. To say Andy Stern didn't know what The Artists Formerly Known As ACORN was up to with their voter registration scams and God-knows what else is an exercise of intellectual dishonesty. While we're on the subject, why would Chairman Obama appoint a person who heads an organization that has beaten up protesters at town hall meetings to anything ? Tell us, Chairman Obama, enquiring minds want to know.
The Associated Depressed also gives us this little tidbit, nice and juicy, filled with beef byproducts and a whole lot of cholesterol:
The commission's goal is to slash the budget gap to around 3% of gross domestic product by 2015, from its projected level of 10.6% in the current fiscal year. Mr. Obama [This is the Associated Depressed calling him Mr. Obama. He will always be Chairman Obama to me.] has indicated nothing, including middle class tax increases will be off the table for the panel, despite his long running campaign pledge not to boost taxes on households making less than $250,000.
[Message from Thought Police: You're pushing your luck, pal.]
I don't recall voting for Andy Stern, do you ? I know it's a hate crime to mention this, but what the hell ? Didn't we fight a Revolutionary War about "No Taxation Without Representation ?" Are you sh-- [Sentence deleted by Thought Police for being offensive to Big Brother] Sure, there will be some sitting members of Congress on this panel to give Chairman Obama some cover, but this is as close to a dictatorship as it gets. When someone who wasn't voted into office by the people and gets to decide their future, it's fascism, plain and simple. I know Stern can't actually write the laws, but I can't help but wonder how much Obama owes him in political favors. After all, SEIU did give Chairman Obama over 60 million dollars in campaign contributions.
And another thing--[Message from Thought Police: You've been warned enough, Absolutely Nobama! Room 101!]

Paydirt!
To be a Conservative with a capital "C" you have have to be a pessimist. The glass isn't half full to a Conservative, it's "Who the hell took my half of the water ? Don't they have a job ? Why can't they get their own damn water ?" (I must admit, my friends on the Religious Right would replace "hell" with "heck" or "H-E double hockey sticks" and they would certainly say "darn" instead of "damn".) Nonetheless, I find myself getting out of Oscar the Grouch's garbage can.
Why would that be, you ask ?
Today's Rassmussen Poll has Barack Hussein Obama at a paltry 43% approval rating, Take away the margin of error, and you have our Dear Leader at a very Bush-like 40%. If you're a true Conservative, life is pretty good right now. I even heard that Charles Krauthammer smiled for the first time since Reagan left office.
Barack Obama has brought the "Hopey Changey" thing alright, too bad for him it was to the wrong people. Obama is now laying the foundation for a permanent Conservative majority. Chairman Obama is the best thing that has happened to the Right since Rush Limbaugh took to the airwaves in 1988. Is he quite possibly the worst President of all time ? You betcha! Luckily, he hasn't destroyed the country completely and there's still a chance to return this country to its former greatness. But, we as Conservatives, can't rest on our laurels. That's where activism comes in.
Activism takes many forms. If you're an anti-social troll like yours truly, maybe standing outside with a sign with the Tea Party isn't for you. Start a blog. If your writing skills are inadequate due to public education malpractice, talk to others. Volunteer your time for a Conservative candidate. (There can be Conservative Democrats, too. No need to be picky.) The point is, we can't just go back into our Conservative shells and bitterly watch FOX News from morning to night. This is a time for action, not hemming and hawing. We are so close, we can't get comfortable. Remember, close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades. We need the ball to break the plane.
The most important thing we have to remember is that we aren't fighting for ourselves, we're fighting for our children and our grandchildren. Do you want your children or grandchildren to grow up in a place where anything is possible, where they can do or be anything they want ? Do you want your children or grandchildren growing up in a place that's free of terrorism ? Or, do you want your children and grandchildren growing up and being forced into some unionized green energy job (that is, if they exist.) where the government takes half of what they earn ? Do you want your children or grandchildren to grow up in a place where terrorists have more rights than citizens ? More importantly, do you want your children or grandchildren to grow up in a place where they'll be told to go home and die if they become seriously ill because it's in the interest of the collective ?
It's third and goal to goal to go. Tell the kicker to have a seat and some gatorade. We're pushing this one into paydirt.

It's Like Deja Vu All Over Again
"I'll take dangerous world politics for 100, Alex"
"This time period featured a rogue dictator threatening to exterminate the Jews, a communist super power feeling its oats, economic calamity that began in the United States, aggression from an east Asian power, European indifference and dithering, an incompetent dictator following the rogue dictator, and a useless alliance of nations."
"What is the 1930's ?"
"I'm sorry, we're looking for : What is the early 21st century ? Please report to Room 101."
"No...No...Do it to him instead! Better yet, do it to Julia!"
The 1930's were a time of great worry. The American economy crashed into the Great Depression, taking the rest of the world's economies with it. A rogue dictator named Adolf Hitler threatened the genocide of the Jewish people. The Soviet Union made the rest of the world shudder at its economic strength. The tiny Asian nation of Japan terrorized the world with its surprise attack on China. Europe, still recovering from World War I, sat back and watched the world stage in horror. Incompetent Italian dictator Benito Mussolini swore to follow Hitler to the gates of hell, and as was predicted, Woodrow Wilson's League of Nations was as useless as advertised.
The early 21st century is a time of great worry. The American economy crashed into the Great Recession, taking the rest of the world's economies with it. A rogue dictator named Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has threatened to exterminate the Jews. China is making the rest of the world shudder at its economic strength. The tiny Asian nation of North Korea terrorized the world with its testing of nuclear weapons. Europe is still tired from from World War II, so it sat back and did nothing. Incompetent Venezuelan dictator Hugo Chavez swore to follow Ahmadinejad to the gates of hell, and as was predicted, the United Nations was as useless as advertised.
Like Yogi Berra said: "It's like Deja Vu all over again."
Human history has a funny way of repeating itself. This isn't the fault of the people, it's always the fault of the leaders of the people. Governments always edit and censor the past, because most of the time, it's the governments' fault why the world is in its usual sorry state.
In the 1930's, every government was at fault for the coming World War II. European governments were at fault for being greedy pigs at the Versailles Treaty negotiations. The American government was at fault for raising taxes during a recession and absurd governmental regulation that helped deepen the Great Depression. The world did nothing about Hitler's threats of genocide, despite the fact that he wrote a blueprint for it known as Mein Kampf. The world paid little attention as Mussolini made a pact with Hitler, and the world never should have created the League of Nations. (Rejecting the League was the Imperial Senate's last great act that had its roots in American Individualism.)
Yet, despite the fact that World War II claimed almost 50 million lives, the world hasn't learned a damn thing. Why ?
The answer is Progressivism, or as we here at Absolutely Nobama call it, Progressivevikism.
The Progressiveviks don't care about history. If they did, they wouldn't be the nimrods that they are. For example, let's look, oh I don't know, the Obamacareless debate we have in Washington now. If the American people give the power of life and death willingly to the government, are they any better than the Germans in the 1930's ? No. I'm not saying that the American people are going to start storming the streets in jackboots and brown shirts, but the Nazis didn't seize power with an armed revolution, they did it at the ballot box. The people of Germany fell in love with a gifted orator who promised up and down he had the answer to all of their problems. (Gee, who does that sound like ?) All they had to was give up their liberties, sit down and be quiet, and all of their problems would be solved for them. It doesn't matter if you agree with the Solution, it's Final. Sort of like when some unelected bureaucrat tells Granny Smith she's too old for that kidney transplant, the Solution becomes Final.
There are those who don't have the stomach for such comparisons, but the evidence is clear. So much history is covered up by the Progressiveviks, no one is willing to look at the bare naked truth. (For some, it's like being forced to look at Keith Olbermann in the buff.) The Progressiveviks will lie and cajole without a soul to cover their tracks. They use hackneyed terms like "It can't happen here" while they perpetrate their crimes, while under the guise of being "compassionate." Little do they realize, compassion can be a far more deadly weapon than any dirty bomb.
History always cries out to us, but we never listen.
It's like deja vu all over again....

Poop-ulist Rhetoric
Recently, at the Blair House Showdown, Chairman Obama, the confused ringleader of the Obamacareless circus, informed fellow leftist Progressivevik John McPain that the "campaign is over".
Well, that's yet another load of what I call poop-ulism. That's when a politician is willing to stack the smelly brown stuff sky high to pander to voters, even though they don't believe a word of it, but they convince themselves that they do. It's the worst kind of lie a politician can tell since it not only involves lying to the voters who pay their salaries, but also it also involves the politician lying to himself.
For example, Obama told McPain the campaign is over, but the reality is the campaign with our Dear Leader is never over. Look back at the State of Confusion Address, when Chairman Obama was mentioning how the big, meanie banks had to curtail the bonuses and pay back the American tax payer. (Which many of them had already done). It sounded good. It made him feel like a man of the people. But I happen to remember a certain socialist and a certain socialist-lite who suspended their presidential campaigns and rushed back to the Distict of Communism to vote on the ill conceived TARP bill which handed the money to the big, meanie banks in the first place without strings attatched. Please email me if you can remeber their names, the first decade of the 21st Century has been a blur.
Don't think for one second that only Chairman Obama practices poop-ulism. He may be a master, but by no means is he the originator. That takes many years of government experience, which we all know now, that Obama had next to none when he was selected by the media--er, was elected as Chairman. Let's look at his opponent in the said selection process, John McPain. Watching him pretend to be a Conservative has been hilarious, to say the least. I happen to to be one of the folks who recalls that John McPain was a big supporter of inflicting Cap and Trade on the American people. I also happen to remember McPain campaigning on how he was going to close Gitmo and stop enhanced interrogations. Now that the Tea Parties have become all the rage, all of a sudden, Senator McPain is now babbling incoherently about the horrors of big government. While I appreciate his concern and I do admire his enthusiam, it's a tad late for that that now, don'tcha think ? I'm no political strategist, but I can't help but wonder what would have happened if John McPain had the testicular fortitude to campaign that way in the first place. Maybe, just maybe, we would not have a President who has put into his a budget billions of dollars for the criminal enterprise formerly known as ACORN. Maybe, just maybe, we wouldn't have to spend sleepless nights wondering if the United States would still be there when our children's children grow up.
With the 2010 midterms around the corner, there's sure to be bowls full of poop-ulism everywhere. When some re-tread, been there waaaay, way too long partsan hack starts to try to reinvent himself as a Conservative, do yourself and your fellow Americans a big favor.
Tell them to flush it and spray. It's starting to smell.

The Very First Big Government
Many people, especially the drones at MSNBC, believe that Conservatism is a political theory. Any true Conservative would disagree with them vehemently on this issue. Conservatism is more or less a reflection on history. In other words, we look back at the past with an honest desire not to repeat the same mistakes that our ancestors made. The Progressiveviks on the left, however, do not. They think they are the brightest and most educated, and everyone around them is still thrashing about in the primordial ooze. The Progressivevik believes that they can ignore history and get away with it.
As my life's mission compels me to do, I will prove them wrong like I always do. (No, I don't need a hobby.)
Ok folks, get those tweed jackets on, get that pipe lit, starighten out that bow tie.....It's Haw-vard time!
I would like to take this opportunity to tell you of the first sighting of Big Government and its first failure with horrible consequences. I'm going to tell you a tale of the world's first superpower: The glory that was the Roman Empire. This tale should scare the hell out of anyone who uses their head for more than a hat rack. I'm certain it won't do anything for Keith Olbermann or his nine remaining viewers, but miracles are possible. (Number ten started watching Hannity and realized he wasted his valuable time on God's green and not mention scientifically proven cooling earth watching such inane slop.)
In the year 312 AD (Not "Common Era" ! I refuse to use it despite the fact I'm Jewish! Does everything have to be so damned politically correct ? I'll use Anno Domini out of spite! Take that, ACLU!), the latest of many Roman civil wars ended, and the last man standing was Constantine, a brilliant general and politician. After assuming the throne, Constatine legalized a budding religion known as Christianity. Back then, for those of you with a public education, Christians were persecuted and fed to the lions, much like how the left treats anyone who disagrees with the "proven science" of the lie/false religion of Global Warming. The newly crowned emperor realized that the Empire would never last with the kind of hate his predecessor, Diocletian, had shown them. (It also didn't hurt that Constatine had a vision that, as the legend says, a burning cross appeared in the sky and Christ told him, "By this sign, you will conquer." Take from this story what you will. The Catholic Church has never made a ruling on whether or not this was a miracle.) Constatine honestly believed that Monotheism that taught ethics and morals would be the thing that would save the dying Empire, as Rome was beginning to crumble.
Constatine did a great thing and did also sealed the fate of the Empire. The great thing he did was save Christianity (and, not to mention, give us the Nicene Creed). Unfortunately, he also planted the seed of the Tree of Pestilence, Big Government. What Constatine failed to understand was Christianity was not the glue he needed to keep the Empire in one piece. It was fractured with many heresies, like the Arian Heresy, which denied the Divinity of Christ, and a whole bunch of wacky interpretations of the Gospels, like the Gnostic Heresy. (I won't bore you with an explanation of that one.) Constatine and his successors not only had to keep the Germanic tribes at bay, but now they had the incessant religious debates of the day, which took them them away from minding the store. With each debate, the Germanic tribes inched closer and closer, while Constatine and his sucessors debated whether or not Christians should serve in the Imperial legions and when Lent was.(At least they did decide which books of the Bible were canon, so don't look at this as a bad thing.)
This all came to head when in 395 AD, when the emperor Theodosius made Christianity the official religion of the Empire and while it was great for the souls of the Roman Empire, it was terrible move politically, since that meant the bureaucracy of the Catholic Church came with it. It became impossible for Theodosius to make a political decision without first consulting with the Pope. To ease this heavy burden, Theodosius split the Empire in two, the western half was still the Roman Empire and the eastern half became the Byzantine Empire, named after the Greek city Byzantium. The Germanic tribes were overjoyed by the division, since they had a new impetus for invading Roman lands. The Huns were hot on their heels, along with the Ostrogoths, the Visigoths, and the Vandals. The tribes constantly attacked Roman lands, and in fact Rome itself was sacked in 410 AD by the Germanic king Alaric. Finally, the last Roman emperor, Romulus Augustulus, surrendered to the Odacer, king of the Lombards in 476 AD. Rome was finally dead.
Enough with the egg-head nonsense! What does this have to do with American politics ?
The Roman Empire fell for many reasons, but one of the chief culprits was the Roman government sticking its nose where it didn't belong, sort of like the useless Obamacareless debate that we have yet again. The Roman emperors of old had no idea what they were getting themselves into by involving themselves inappropriately in religion, just like Chairman Obama has no idea what he's getting into by inappropriately inserting the federal government into health care. If he gets his way, health care will not only drain the coffers of the Treasury, it will become a divisive issue, unlike anything that has been seen before in the United States. The moment Granny Smith is told to go home and die by someone like Robert Reich, the doo-doo will hit the fan. God only knows how many lawsuits against the federal government will occur from this stupidity. Only the Big Conservative Upstairs knows how much civil chaos this could cause. After a while, it will be the only issue the government will be able to handle. There are 300+ million Americans. Socialist medicine, Obamacare, or whatever you want to call it has never been tried on a population of this size.
Just like at the end of the glory that was Rome, America has more than its share of problems with other nations that can't be ignored or put off for a second. There's al-Qaeda being their usual lovable selves, sending the Christmas Day Skidmark Bomber to blow up a plane above a major American city and trying to score nuclear weapons in unstable Pakistan. We shouldn't forget everyone's least favorite Muppet, Kim Jong Mentally Ill, who, at last check, threatened to fire missiles toward Hawaii. There's also Adolf Ahmedinjad in Iran who wants to usher in the era of the 12th Imam by using nuclear weapons. There's also the unConstitutional occupation of Haiti to deal with, and oh, I almost forgot, a big, undefended border to to the south where ILLEGAL aliens pour in whenever the mood strikes them. Our federal government, which lacks the ability to chew gum and walk at the same time, can not be bogged down with the issues of health care, especially with the climate the world is in. The current political environment of the world demands that the federal government focuses on protecting the United States from foreign enemies, known and unknown. Let's not forget the world economic climate, either. The last time we had world wide economic disaster like this, an event known as World War II occurred. (I have dibs on this comparison, so don't get any funny ideas. This will be explored soon.in a future column, so stay tuned.) If we're going to survive on as a nation, we can't have the federal government distracted by health care, just like the Roman emperors were distracted by religion and ignored the barbarians at the gates. (No, I'm not calling illegal aliens barbarians. Settle down, ACLU, settle down.) My father gave me an invaluable piece of advice that would serve Chairman Obama well. Never start another project until you've finished the first one. Call me crazy and off my meds, but shouldn't the federal government settle its two major wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, its shadow wars in Yemen and Somalia, its occupation of Haiti, and secure the southern border of the United States before tackling a social issue that most voters have already decided wasn't as important as the economy or national security ? (And, might I add, the voters also aren't exactly enchanted with Obama's health care plan, either.)
It's like the old corny saying goes: Those who don't study and understand history are doomed to repeat it.....
As my life's mission compels me to do, I will prove them wrong like I always do. (No, I don't need a hobby.)
Ok folks, get those tweed jackets on, get that pipe lit, starighten out that bow tie.....It's Haw-vard time!

Constatine honestly believed that Monotheism that taught ethics and morals would be the thing that would save the dying Empire, as Rome was beginning to crumble.

Progressivevik Sniveling
In the Central Falls school district of Rhode Island, Superintendant Frances Gallo fired 93 employees of its only, and not to mention failing miserably high school. All the teachers got the ax, as well the administrators and useless guidance counselors. Why ? The Central Falls Teacher Union would not play along with Gallo's programs for positive changes in the school, such as teachers being required to work a seven hour work day (gasp!) and being required to spend two weeks of summer vacation in professional development. (The horror!)
According to the district's officials, of the 800 students, 50% of the students were failing every subject, even basket weaving. Only 55% were proficient in reading, and only, I kid you not, 7% were proficient in math. Needless to say, Central Falls High School is not exactly Haw-vard, and the cure for cancer isn't coming from this school, so in good conscience, Ms. Gallo did the only thing she could do: get rid of the tax money leech teachers and start all over again.
Despite the fact that this is more Mafioso arm twisting by Uncle Sugar, I applaud the move. (Gallo and the school board used federal guidelines to turn the school around.) But like every thing else that involves Progressiveviks and their failures, there's more to this story than meets the eye. The first shocker is CNN's treatment of the affair and, of course, the union's response. There's the real story: How blind the Progressiveviks are to their own failures and how compliant the lamestream media is in covering for them.
Albert Shanker, the Jimmy Hoffa of teachers and American Federation of Teachers head once said in 1985: "I'll start representing school children when they start paying union dues." Since then, teacher unions have run amok, with all kinds of shenanighans, like the infamous "rubber rooms" where teachers in New York City are assigned to instead of being fired, even for sexual misconduct. They report there every day and still collect full pay. At the height of the recession in 2009 (you remember, the one Chairman Obama called the worst recession since the Great Depression and then said it magically went away during the State of Confusion Address. Yeah, the one we're still living in.), the teachers of Miami Dade and Broward here in socialist Florida demanded raises. Education has been in a free fall for decades under the influence of teacher unions. Kids are getting dumber while tax payers are being scammed.
The latest outrage came from the Central Falls Teachers union, who has decided to fight the firings. Children be damned, there are union dues to collect. Are you kidding me ? I know that's what unions are supposed to do, but give me a break. It's not just the teachers whose lives are touched by this, it's the kids and the tax payers. The kids are robbed of their future and the tax payer is robbed blind once again. Jane Sessums, president of the Central Falls Teachers Union whined that the teachers were unfairly targeted and scapegoated. She even had the nerve to say: "We want genuine reforms, not quick fixes that do nothing but create a wedge between teachers, our school, and our community." Well, Jane, what about the wedge the teachers created with their crappy performance ? What about the wedge the teachers created by acting like little brats and not accepting the changes their bosses the superintendant and the tax payer demanded ? One of the many, many problems with public sector unions is the sense of entiltlement they create in employees, even the incompetent ones like the teachers and administrators of Central Falls high school. Teachers, like any other employee on God's green (and not to mention scientifically proven cooling) earth have to perform or get canned. Despite would Hollywood would have you believe, teachers are not selfless saints. A good number of them are nothing more than scam artists living off the fat of the land, and for the good of the kids they misinform and for our country, they need to find new careers. Maybe they can get jobs in Van Jones' green economy.
Now, if your blood pressure isn't at dangerous levels from the last story, perhaps CNN's coverage of the affair will give you an ischemic stroke. On their website, CNN notes: (I cut and paste this from their site and didn't alter it any way.)
(CNN) -- A school board in Rhode Island has voted to fire all teachers at a struggling high school, a dramatic move aimed at shoring up education in a poverty-ridden school district.
Out of curosity, why should that whole "poverty- stricken" nonsense even matter ? The teachers weren't poverty stricken, to the best of my knowledge. Once again, this is the Communist News Network up to their old tricks. Poverty is the problem, not the lunk-heads doing the teaching, or lack thereof. The "poverty- stricken" line immediately puts a Progressivevik stink on the whole article. Now pop an aspirin and let's look at the next little tidbit:
Of the 800 students, 65 percent are Hispanic and for most of them, English is a second language.
Why ? Why would English be a second language ? If this was such a big problem, why didn't the school do anything about it ? More importantly, why didn't Randi Kaye, the author of this drivel, ask that ? South Florida, where I call home, has waaaaay more of an immigration issue than Rhode Island could ever hope to have, and yet, we don't have our schools closing. Does Kaye ask that ? Of course not, silly, that would be heresy to the Progressivevik orthodoxy that guides CNN's reporting. If she were a journalist and not a parrot repeating talking points given to her by the Central Falls Teachers Union and the DNC, she would have looked into how South Florida and Texas border towns integrate immigrant children into American society with great success. You don't even get a whiff of that in this article. Not to sound intolerant and leave myself open to possible hate crime charges, I'm forced to point out that during the last wave of immigration to the United States, immigrant children from the world over came to America and learned English, my grandparents included. If they could do it, why couldn't the kids at Central Falls High ? Was it possible that the school was poorly run ? We'll never know from CNN's scab reporting on the matter. Ms. Kaye was more interested in playing the race card and repeating Progressivevik babble about the "poverty-stricken" area The moral to this story is: We are winning the "culture war", to take a page out of Bill O'Reilly's playbook. Conservative values are taking root, thanks to courageous people like Frances Gallo and no thanks to the teachers unions or the Progressivevik-compliant lamestream media.

Oceania Has Always Been At War With East Asia
And Eurasia has always been our ally.
Oceania has always been at war with Eurasia, and East Asia has always been our ally.
This convuluted little saying comes from my favorite movie Nineteen Eighty-Four. To me, in my humble, yet highly educated, opinion, is a great way to look at the Obamacareless debate that is once again rearing its socialist, ugly head. It's gotten so large, and so many of its principle players have switched sides so many times, that it has the orgainization of a Turkish prison riot. You have Progressiveviks jumping ship and then swimming back to the ship even though it's on fire, then jumping off once again. Every politician and hanger-on is running for cover.
For God's sake, this has to stop. The country can't take much more of this.
I hate to sound all wishy-washy, but let's face facts like an adult. This isn't the time for some sweeping social reform. The last time I checked, the federal deficit has reached nightmare proportions. We are involved in two wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, shadow wars in Yemen and Somalia, an unconstitutional occupation of Haiti, and oh yeah, in case you forgot, 10% unemployment. Yet, the United States Congress (emphasis on the con part) is busy with a piece of legislation that the majority of Americans have already given the middle finger to. The last thing we need is more of this pointless debate. The American people, you know, the peons who will have to live with this, have already had their say. They said: NO.
I'm forced to ask this question: Why ? Why now ?
The answer is ugly, but what the hell ? The answer is:
The arrogance of power. Absolute power corrupts ABSOLUTELY. (Eventually, I'm going to have that word copyrighted.)
If you aren't convinced that Obama isn't a power hungry ego-maniac by willfully going against the will of the American people by drudging this up again, you need psychological help and buckets of meds. The only reason Obama is chasing after the Ghost of Progressiveviks Past of universal health care is his Montana-sized ego. He wants to go down in history as the man who suceeded where Teddy Roosevelt and Bill Clinton failed. Does he care that the US economy is starting to look like Zimbabwe's ? Nah, that's not an issue. Does he care that countries by the dozens are lining up to destroy us ? No siree-bob, he doesn't. (A lot of them are his friends, like Hugo Chavez. I hear they belong to the same reading club.) All that's important to our Dear Leader is his place in history, consequences be damned,
I'm not going to waste any of my valuable time even posing this argument to the Ego-Maniac in Chief, so I'll pose it to the most powerful person in Congress, Princess Nancy, Ruler of The People's Republic of Pelosi. We The People...have had enough. We can't live our lives wondering when the axe is going to be dropped on our necks. I know, Princess Nancy, you want your piece of the history pie too, but is it really worth it ? Is another summer of anger and hate really necessary ? Are you willing to to hold Chairman Obama's hand on the way down off the cliff ? Do you want to be Obama's accomplice in this mess ?
Oceania has always been at war with East Asia and Eurasia. Oceania has no allies. Big Brother needs to work on his people skills.
So does Chairman Obama.

The Ministry of Truth
n the story Nineteen Eighty-Four, one of the tools Big Brother used to oppress the people of the fictional Oceania was the Ministry of Truth or Minitrue in newspeak. (The Orwellian version of political correctness.) The Ministry of Truth's main job was to delete "unpeople" and "unwords" in order to make history and current events fit into Big Brother's plans. The very glue of Oceanian society was Minitrue and the lies that spewed from it. (Sort of like the lies that spewed from the lamestream media until some guy named Limbaugh came along.)
Despite the success of Rush Limabugh and FOX News, the lamestream media is still at it, cutting out "untruths" and "unpeople" from our collective memory. Let's take a look at this article from the February 17 edition of the Sun Sentinel from the sunny, socialist shores of Fort Lauderdale, Florida:
Audit: Millions wasted in early census effort
Washington-The Census Bureau, a month away from its 2010 population count, has already wasted millions of dollars paying some its 1 million temporary workers who never did the work and others who overbilled for travel, according to excerpts of a Commerce Department audit obtained by the Associated Press.
The audit, scheduled to released next week, examined the Census Bureau's address-canvassing operation last fall, which 140,000 temporary workers walked block by block to update the government's mailing lists and maps.
The project finished ahead of schedule but Census Bureau Director Robert Groves acknowledged in October the costs had ballooned $88 million, or 25 percent, over the original estimate of $356 million.
--From news services
Well, gee, that sounds like a real humdinger of a scandal, right ? You wouldn't know that from the Sentinel's treatment of the story. I found this little tidbit on page 16A right next to a picture of freakazoids all dressed up for Mardi Gras. Now, I have nothing against Mardi Gras or the beautiful city of New Orleans, but I would think that millions of dollars being stolen from the federal government would be front page news, wouldn't you ?
Not in the view of Minitrue. We're lucky we got the story at all. Of course, if this had happened during the Bush administration, Rachel Madcow and the rest of her bovine ilk would have burned Bush and Cheney in effigy for this. The Sentinel would have as well. With Chairman Obama and his protectors in the media, well that's another story. With all due respect to Bernie Goldberg, one would say they have a "slobbering love affair" with our Dear Leader ?
The Founding Fathers had envisioned a free press as the back bone of the American Republic. The press is supposed to root out corruption and incompetence by our elected (and UNELECTED, in the case of the Czars) leadership to help the American people make intelligent choices at election time.
But what can we do when the majority of the press has given up its freedom and has willfully joined the Ministry of Truth and allows Big Brother to lie to them ? What can be done when the news is purposely buried ? Or inaccurately reported ? Let's take another look, once again from the Sun-Sentinel, which run a column by David Broder of the Washington Compost, titled "Both parties face the wrath of the public". This also-ran column also ran in the February 19th edition. (Apparently, the editor in chief at the Sentinel was on a "personal day".)
In Broder's non-descript column about how both parties should be terrified of pitchforks and torches which was very lame to say the least, he mentions a very odd statistic. The Obamacareless proposals by the Shack of Representatives and Imperial Senate were supported by 46% of the American people, 49% against. Where did he get those numbers ? Party members O'Brien or Charrington ? Had Broder accessed the Right Wing attack machine known as the internet, he would have found actual polling data. Rasmussen, for example, which only polls likely voters, had it at 39% approval and 58% against. Zogby also had it at 39%. I understand that Broder is a columnist and not a hard news guy, but a columnist has to base his opinions on facts, not desires. I base everything I do here at Absolutely Nobama on facts and research, and I'm not, as of yet, a household name like Broder. Where the hell was his editor ? Or for that matter, the Sun-Sentinel's editor that allowed this drivel to even see the light of day ?
Thankfully, we do have FOX, Rush, and that wacky and zany Glenn Beck, but there is definitely something amiss when any member of the press throws down his objectivity in favor of supporting any political figure or movement. There is a cure, other than just staying home and bitterly watching FOX from sun up to sun down. We can take back the press, too. We as Conservatives can employ our own Cloward and Piven strategy. We can overload the editorial boards with letters to the editor pointing out their various omissions. It's vital that we do so, since FOX can't be everywhere.
Why do I have such a hankering for Victory Gin and Victory cigarettes ?

We can overload the editorial boards with letters to the editor pointing out their various omissions. It's vital that we do so, since FOX can't be everywhere.
Why do I have such a hankering for Victory Gin and Victory cigarettes ?
Absolutely NoGrahamnesty
Usually, I use my column to rant and rave about the latest socialist failure or Progressivevik plot of our Dear Leader, Chairman Obama. However, for this column, I'm going to give Chavez From Another Mother a break, and turn my attention to another Washington-borne annoyance, everyone's least favorite Republican and supposed Conservative, Lindsey Graham.
If you want an example of a dangerous subversive, look no further than the Shame of South Carolina, Imperial Senator Lindsey Grahamnesty (S-SC). At least, for those of us who weren't blinded by Chairman Obama's poop-ulist rhetoric, we knew what we were getting: Some egg-headed professor of law who leaned so far left he's left-handed. (No, really, Obama is actually left handed.) The clues were all there, if anyone were to honestly listen to what the man said during the campaign. In Grahamnesty's case, it's hidden under the usual Conservative "Smaller government, lower taxes, blah, blah," But secretly, deep down, Ol' Grahamnesty is hopped up on all kinds of Progressivevik nonsense, like amnesty for illegal aliens and the lie/false religion of Global Warming.
Grahamnesty first drew my ire when he turned against his Conservative base when he went along with George Bush's insane idea for amnesty for the illegal alien CRIMINALS who are helping to drag the United States into the Third World. In a speech , Grahamnesty said "No one owns this" (referring to the wealth of the United States) and my personal favorite "We're going to to tell the bigots to shut up." In other words, Grahamnesty believes that anyone who has the nerve to expect the sovereignty of the United States to be respected and its immigration laws to be obeyed is a racist. Don't get me wrong: I think legal immigration is a great thing. My grandparents were immigrants, just like the majority of Americans'. LEGAL immigrants help us to realize exactly how lucky we are to be in America and some of the most patriotic people I've known are immigrants, like my grandfather who always hung a flag in front of his house on Flag Day or my boss at my it-pays-the-bills-until-I-become-a-famous-columnist job, who was born in Cuba, and makes me look like a bleeding heart liberal. The United States benefits from immigrants like these, not the ones who come to the US ILLEGALLY, and do nothing but soak up as many benefits and freebies as they can. Yet, to Grahamnesty, those of us who think this way, are bigots, despite the fact most Americans believe this.
Now, if one were to put the partisan rose colored glasses for a second, this would appear to be pandering for votes, while detestable to us normal folks, is standard operating procedure for politicians. However, Senator Grahamnesty is also a believer in the lie/false religion of Global Warming, which to any Conservative, is ABSOLUTELY unforgivable. Recently, Barack Graham began working with GE (Is it me or is GE in the epicenter of every Global Warming hubbaloo ?) lobbyists on the "Clean Energy Act of 2009" which mandates that 20% of electricity must come from "clean" energy sources. To add insult to grevious injury, the turbines required for this madness are made, you guessed right, in South Carolina. Once again, the American people will be victims to crony capitalism, this time to help one of the worst Senators of all time be reelected. At this rate, I'd vote for Bernie Sanders or Barney Fwank a hell of a lot faster than I would Lindsey Grahamnesty. At least with those two, the screwing is done in plain view. With Grahamnesty, it's like playing Russian Roulette. You never know how it's going to end up.
If the Republican party is ever going to regain any sort of revelance, it has to purge itself of harmful influences like Graham and his "moderate" pals like John McCain, Olympia Snowe, and the utterly forgettable Susan Collins. These flim-flam artists have no place in the Republican party. (Or Washington, for that matter.) Michael Steele, the head of the RNC, needs to stop hocking his book for a second and lay down the law. These relics from the failed Bush "compassionate Conservative" era should be given a choice: Give up their Progressivevik ideals and rejoin the American people in heart and mind or they can join forces with evil George Soros and join the gaggle of soon to be out of office Democrats. In other words, they can call themselves Republicans and Conservatives all they want, but they would not receive one iota of help from the party. Not one volunteer. Not one pollster. Not one campaign flunkie. Not one endorsement, and more importantly, not one one wodden nickel for their campaign war chests. This may seem a little extreme for some, but the stakes for the American people are too high for crap like feelings or loyalty.
Like Gordon Gekko said in Wall Street : "You want a friend, get a dog."

Phil Jones ? You're Under Arrest For Fraud!
Recently, one of the high priests of the lie/ false religion known as Global Warming, "Dr." Phil Jones was interviewed by the BBC in Great Britain. Jones was the head honcho of the CRU, Climate Research Unit at East Anglia. He was one of the ones still holding the hot potato when the Climategate emails, which showed how the "researchers" cooked the books, were revealed to the world.
I have two questions. Number 1: Why isn't he in some holding cell wearing the bracelets of justice and making interesting friends ? and Number 2: Why in the hell do I have to go all the way to England to get any sort of truth in the matter ?
For those of you who don't know, I'm one of Global Warming's greatest critics. I don't just think it's a fraud, I know it's a fraud. I'm savvy enough as a person to see that this gibberish has nothing to do with any sort of coming eco-catastrophe, it has everything to do with lining the pockets of Al Snore, the Supreme Pontiff of the religion, his archbishops Phil Jones and Michael Mann, and last, but not least, the moneychanger Jeffrey Immelt, GE CEO, who would make a killing from this nonsense once Chairman Obama's beloved Cap and Trade was inflicted upon the victims...I mean, citizens of the United States. Don't get me wrong, there's no greater fan of capitalism, as I, your humble Right Wing Extremist columnist, but crony capitalism that's based on a lie, well, that's another story.
In this interview, which was ignored by the lamestream media in the States, Jones makes several confessions. First, and foremost Jones admits there has been no statistically significant warming since 1995. Note, this was cut and pasted directly from the BBC website and was unaltered by me in any way, shape, or form.
B - Do you agree that from 1995 to the present there has been no statistically-significant global warming
Yes, but only just. I also calculated the trend for the period 1995 to 2009. This trend (0.12C per decade) is positive, but not significant at the 95% significance level. The positive trend is quite close to the significance level. Achieving statistical significance in scientific terms is much more likely for longer periods, and much less likely for shorter periods.
That's right, you read that right. There has been no statistically significant warming since 1995. Why doesn't ol' Phil go ahead and tell that EU member nations like Spain that has a 19% unemployment rate because they were basing their entire economy on this garbage, or anyone else in the EU whose utility bills have sky-rocketed because of this boldfaced lie. The .012C that the earth's temperature supposedly rose in that time could be from anything, including solar activity. The last time I checked, the sun has quite a bit to do with the earth's temperature. Moving on....
C - Do you agree that from January 2002 to the present there has been statistically significant global cooling?
No. This period is even shorter than 1995-2009. The trend this time is negative (-0.12C per decade), but this trend is not statistically significant.
Oh no! Break out the Snuggies! We're all going to freeze to death! Well, maybe not, since Jones is right, the sample is too small to be of any real value. However, it kind of makes me wonder, since according to Al Snore and his leftist Hollywood disciples, we have like 10 minutes to save the planet. Hey, Al! I want my money back after watching your lousy movie! Moving on....
D - Do you agree that natural influences could have contributed significantly to the global warming observed from 1975-1998, and, if so, please could you specify each natural influence and express its radiative forcing over the period in Watts per square metre.
This area is slightly outside my area of expertise. When considering changes over this period we need to consider all possible factors (so human and natural influences as well as natural internal variability of the climate system). Natural influences (from volcanoes and the Sun) over this period could have contributed to the change over this period. Volcanic influences from the two large eruptions (El Chichon in 1982 and Pinatubo in 1991) would exert a negative influence. Solar influence was about flat over this period. Combining only these two natural influences, therefore, we might have expected some cooling over this period.
Outside his area of expertise ? The man is supposedly a climatologist! Again, I'm forced to add some common sense to this prattle! The sun is the biggest influence on the earth's climate! Hey Phil, if you're game, I'll send you my 4th grade science text book, sure it came from the crappy US public school system that can only turn out McDonald's workers and San Francisco marchers, but at least it taught me how the sun does influence the earth's climate, and more importantly, how to put a condom on a bannana. Moving on....
E - How confident are you that warming has taken place and that humans are mainly responsible?
I'm 100% confident that the climate has warmed. As to the second question, I would go along with IPCC Chapter 9 - there's evidence that most of the warming since the 1950s is due to human activity.
In a court of law, this would be called a lack of remorse. We just sat through God-knows how much garbage, and then Ol' Philsy says that. See, these people are truly watermelons, green on the outside, and red in the middle, as in commie. Jones is still pushing this charade with one hand, while disproving it with the other. The only reasonable conclusion I can draw from that statement is that Jones agrees with the socialist agenda of the lie/ false religion of Global Warming and will keep pushing it to the bitter end. Moving on....
G - There is a debate over whether the Medieval Warm Period (MWP) was global or not. If it were to be conclusively shown that it was a global phenomenon, would you accept that this would undermine the premise that mean surface atmospheric temperatures during the latter part of the 20th Century were unprecedented?
There is much debate over whether the Medieval Warm Period was global in extent or not. The MWP is most clearly expressed in parts of North America, the North Atlantic and Europe and parts of Asia. For it to be global in extent the MWP would need to be seen clearly in more records from the tropical regions and the Southern Hemisphere. There are very few palaeoclimatic records for these latter two regions.
Of course, if the MWP was shown to be global in extent and as warm or warmer than today (based on an equivalent coverage over the NH and SH) then obviously the late-20th century warmth would not be unprecedented. On the other hand, if the MWP was global, but was less warm that today, then current warmth would be unprecedented.
We know from the instrumental temperature record that the two hemispheres do not always follow one another. We cannot, therefore, make the assumption that temperatures in the global average will be similar to those in the northern hemisphere.
In everyday speech, so lackwits like Keith Olbermann can understand, the scammers at CRU have ABSOLUTELY no idea if the Medieval warming period was global or not. If it were, that would mean their trillion dollar house of cards would come crumbling down, wouldn't it ? I would also like to point out that there is no way to determine solar activity from the Medieval Warming Period, either. There are just way too many holes in Jones' rhetoric, aren't there ? Moving on....
N - When scientists say "the debate on climate change is over", what exactly do they mean - and what don't they mean?
It would be supposition on my behalf to know whether all scientists who say the debate is over are saying that for the same reason. I don't believe the vast majority of climate scientists think this. This is not my view. There is still much that needs to be undertaken to reduce uncertainties, not just for the future, but for the instrumental (and especially the palaeoclimatic) past as well.
So, tell me Chairman Obama, the debate is over ? The science is settled ? After all, didn't you say this during the State of Confusion Address:
And yes, it means passing a comprehensive energy and climate bill with incentives that will finally make clean energy the profitable kind of energy in America.
I am grateful to the House for passing such a bill last year. This year, I am eager to help advance the bipartisan effort in the Senate. I know there have been questions about whether we can afford such changes in a tough economy; and I know that there are those who disagree with the overwhelming scientific evidence on climate change.
So the President of the United States is willing to hamstring further the greatest economic system on God's green (and not to mention scientifically proven cooling) earth for what ? I know! Socialism! Do we need any further proof this is not some socialist plot to willy-nilly spread wealth around from the productive citizens and nations to the slackers ?
I've said it before, and you know what, I'll go to my grave saying it. The only debate that's truly over is the fact that lie/ false religion Global Warming is a socialist scam, and jerks like Michael Mann and Phil Jones should be indicted, along with Al Snore. Once these socialist goon bags are rotting in their cells, maybe the world's temperature will go down, since they won't be able to poison our environment with any more of their hot air.
I have two questions. Number 1: Why isn't he in some holding cell wearing the bracelets of justice and making interesting friends ? and Number 2: Why in the hell do I have to go all the way to England to get any sort of truth in the matter ?

Nazis, Eh ?
The political Right is always accused of being Nazis by the treacherous Progressivevik left, when in reality, it is the leftists who are the heirs apparent to the National SOCIALIST German Workers Party. Day after day, we have have drones like Chrissy Matthews and Rachel Madcow prattling on and on about the supposed Nazi-like horrors of the Right while their fellow drones nod as if it were a reflexive action. With all due apologies to Jonah Goldberg and his beyond awesome book Liberal Fascism, let's examine this idiocy so we can file it under "f" for "f-ing ret--" (Oops! I forgot! Only Rahm Emmanuel is allowed to use those words.)
Reason#1 Why the Progressiveviks are really Nazis: Both believe in the concentration of political power in one place.
The Nazis concentrated the political power of the Third Reich in Berlin. Gone were the states of the Weimar Republic, replaced by Gaus run by Nazi cronies known as Gauletiers. Within a year or so of Hitler seizing power, each Gau was exactly like the other. The sham laws made by the Reichstag overrode any local law. This made laws like the infamous Nuremberg Law very easy to enforce.
The same can be said about how American states are becoming identical because a bloated Uncle Sugar has become huge, mostly because the horrid Seventeenth Amendment that took away the state governments' representation in the federal government. (The Seventeenth Amendment, for those of you with a public school education, took away the state legislature's right to appoint Imperial Senators and had them directly elected by the people. Thank you very damn much, early twentieth century Progressiveviks!) With the Seventeenth Amendment, the federal government was given carte blanche to use and abuse the states in any way they saw fit. (See the 55 mph speed limit and the Department of Education for further details.) The Seventeenth Amendment, one of the Progressiveviks' first daggers into the heart of liberty, has helped make one state virtually indistinguishable from the other, taking away the power of the American people to "vote with their feet". If they were unhappy in the socialist dystopia known as New York, they were free to go to the sunny shores of Florida or the great state of Texas and find life much better, for example. Now, there are very few differences between the states other than culture, since the feds dangle money over the states' heads to make them do their nefarious bidding. (For more on this, check out my blog Time To Kill The Seventeenth Amendment.)
Reason#2 Why the Progressiveviks are really Nazis: Both believe in the selective breeding of human beings and attaching dollar values to human life.
The Nazis believed wholeheartedly in the concept of the Ubermensch, or superman. (No, Olbermann, not Christopher Reeves. Here, take my keys and go play quietly in the corner until the adults are finished speaking.) The Nazis purposely tried to breed a master race to help them conquer the world. They would often encourage their elites, like the SS, to produce as many children as possible, preferrably with blue eyes and blond hair. Those who weren't born with those characteristics were treated shabbily, but as long as they were useful, they were allowed to live. If they were born with some sort of defect, they were sent to Aktion T4 and were exterminated, all for the convenience of the Reich government. (Why should the Reich have to pay to take care of someone who can't work or fight ?)
American Progressiveviks aren't looking for the Aryan ideal, but they seek to exterminate the imperfect nonetheless with one of their sacred cows, abortion. There are thousands of stories in which babies appeared to have some sort of horrible defect on a sonogram, but were born a-ok nonetheless. The Pro-Death advocates (They don't believe in choice at all, don't let them fool you. If they believed in choice, the fetus would have some say, right ? Their very existence as a living, innocent being is their say.) argue that is "unfair" to bring a child into the world with a club foot, or spina bifida, or some other defect. So their answer to this genetic "injustice" is murder, which is exactly what abortion is. God only knows what horrors the Nazis would have unleashed if they had sonograms back then.
Then, there's the "Right to Die" euthanasia crowd that wants to help the sick commit suicide, which is creepy enough, but what are we to make of Ezekiel Emmanuel and his "complete lives" system, that if Progressiveviks had their way with HR 3200, would have determined the value of human life in the terms of dollars and cents and whether or not a person had a right to medical care ? Is that not out of Heinrich Himmler's playbook ? Yet, the Progressiveviks argued that the very young and the very old were not as valuable as someone in their twenties or thirties. You remain unconvinced, I see. Here's a quote from Robert Reich, Bill Clinton's former labor secretary and current Obama economic advisor (Let's not also forget, rampaging Progressivevik.):
"We're going to have to, if you're very old, we're not going to give you all that technology and all those drugs for the last couple of years of your life to keep you maybe going for another couple of months. It's too expensive...so we're going to let you die." (Boy, does this guy's last name fit him, or what ?)
Reason#3Why the Progressiveviks are really Nazis: Both are at war with God and religion.
The Nazis' favorite targets were the Jews, to be sure, but religion was a close second. The Nazi church law declared that the Cross be removed from all churches in Germany and replaced by the Swastika. Martin Bormann, Hitler's favorite toady next to Albert Speer, once wrote an article titled "Christianity is incompatible with National Socialism." In fact, Hitler even tried to replace Christmas with "yuletide" so no one's birthday, not even Christ's, would be celebrated more than his. Hitler is even quoted as saying this by Henry Picker at one of his "table talks" :
"The greatest harm to our people are our pastors in both churches." and Robert D'Harcourt quotes Hitler as saying this: "Judaism, Christianity, Bolshevism are all bound together. Comrades in agitation, born tools of decay, they posess, the same talent to destroy the natural structure of society."
If I didn't know that those quotes came from Hitler, I'd think that they came from some empty suit at the ACLU, wouldn't you ?
The Progressiveviks hate religion as much as Hitler and the Nazis did, but unfortunately for them, most Americans do not, so the church wreckings and sending pastors to death camps will have to wait. So instead, they circulate lies, like the Founding Fathers were agnostics and atheists, and have their legal eagle Stormtroopers, the ACLU, harrass religion in any way it can. (Except for Radical Islam, which the Progressiveviks tolerate since it is at war with the US.) They create "art" like a Crucifix in a jar of urine or a statue of the Virgin Mary covered in elephant poop and demand that the American taxpayer pay for it. (Thank you very damn much for the NEA, Progressiveviks! It's the gift that keeps on taking.) Chairman Obama has gotten in on the "We hate God" antics as well, mentioning that voters in rural Pennsylvania were "clinging" to their guns and religion because they're bitter, and once he even had a Crucifix covered up at a speech at Georgetown.
I could go on and on, but I'm no expert, but Jonah Goldberg is. Liberal Fascism is a must read for any Conservative who gets tired of being called a goose stepper by actual goose steppers.
The View From Room 101
I must admit the movie Nineteen Eighty-Four had a profound effect on me as a Conservative. The fictional Ingsoc and Big Brother are a tad too familiar for my taste. They remind me a tad too much of what the Progressivevik left has in store for the rest of us. Quite frankly, it scares the hell out of me, and if your head is more than a hat rack, it should scare the hell out of you as well.
To me, in my humble opinion, Big Brother, Ingsoc, The Thought Police, and other less than desirable parts of the fictional Oceanian government already exist here in America. Granted, they can't arrest anyone (not yet, at any rate.) or subject them to torture, but they are real nonetheless. Let's put on our thinking caps and dispose of our partisan rose colored glasses and take a look see.
In both the movie and the book, Nineteen Eighty-Four's chief protagonist, Winston Smith works for the Ingsoc (short for English socialism) ministry that is responsible for changing history so that it meets Big Brother's needs. Hmmmmm......What does that sound like ?
Why, that sounds like an American public school teacher, by golly!
It's amazing how much public "education" has destroyed American history. Those who were actually villains are treated as heroes. Those who were heroes were turned into rank villains. We are taught that men like Woodrow Wilson were heroes, despite the fact that their policies set our country into the path towards oblivion. We are taught that that the early twentieth century Progressives were heroic social reformers not bound to old fashioned chains of Constitution and religion. We are taught that the industrialists of old were fascists in expensive suits that kept the working man down. We are also taught that the Founding Fathers were racist pigs who only set up the Constitutional Convention as a way to keep the slave trade going. It goes on and on. The Progressiveviks figured out the only way toward their goals was to start with the children. Is it any wonder then, why the youth vote went to Chairman Obama, despite the fact that his statements about spreading the wealth around would have gotten him blacklisted in the '50's ? In the story of Nineteen Eighty-Four, this is called "perfecting the language." Is it so unreasonable to believe that the left doesn't have its own "perfected language" where personal responsibility, patriotism, and individual freedom are wiped clean from their vernacular ? After all, if the left hadn't done that, not a single soul with a least a fourth grade education would have never voted for Chairman Obama.
The lamestream media is just as guilty with their "Minitrue" (In Nineteen Eighty-Four, this was the department of Big Brother that handled government propaganda.) treatment of Progressivevik madness. Whether it was Chris Matthews' on air man-crush on Obama or Walter Cronkite deciding the US lost the Vietnam war, the press has, and always will, push the Progressivevik agenda. If you don't believe me, check out the softball questioning Chairman Obama recieves from every other news outlet not run by Roger Ailes. Look at the questions our Dear Leader received during the Democratic primary from "journalists" like Wolf Blitzer, who asked if Obama was ready to handle the "assault" from the McPain camp that would paint him as a "tax and spend liberal" while Sarah Palin, later in the campaign, was asked to explain the non-existent "Bush Doctrine" Let's not also forget the pampered Hollywood leftists like Oprah Winfrey who declared that Obama was the "one", as if God was dead and Obama was it.Yet, there was no palpable public outrage. Why ? We've been conditioned from Seasame Street to advanced doctorate degrees from MIT to believe that the Progressivevik way is the only way.
Last year, Congress (emphasis on the Con) introduced their version of the Thought-Police with their dubious "hate crime" law. Now, not only are the crimes punished, the thought behind the crime is punished. For example, if my wife were to plunge an axe into head for being Jewish, she would not only be punished for my murder, she would be punished for her antisemitism. Why ? Thoughts aren't crimes, are they ? Yes, now they are. How much longer until political thought will be considered a crime ? Don't forget Chairman Obama has appointed Mark Lloyd, who applauds the way Hugo Chavez handles the media in Venezuela, to head up the diversity department of the FCC. Don't forget Imperial Senator Chuck Schumer (S-NY) wants to decide who and who is not a journalist. Certainly, we can't forget Chairman Obama's temper tantrum about the Supreme Court's striking down the un-American parts of the McPain/Feingold campaign finance "reform" bill. No one who cares a whit about the Constitution should ever forget the (un)Fairness Doctrine. Actual thought-crime legislation is surely on its way, given our track record the last fifty years.
When the Progressiveviks can't punish dissenters with governmental oppression, they do it with ridicule and scorn. A superb example of this was Susan Roesgen, formerly of the Communist News Network (CNN) who on air attacked Tea Party members who compared Chairman Obama to Hitler, despite the fact that a year earlier she gave unspoken approval of comparing George Bush to Hitler at a rally in New Orleans. Another example is the unending scorn of those who refuse to believe in the 2+2=5 mentality of the lie/false religion of Global Warming. They are treated like Holocaust deniers by the Progressivevik left. Why, you ask ? That's simple. Just like Ingsoc, the Progressivevik left is at war with actual intellectualism and reason. They don't like it when us "proles" (a slang word in Nineteen Eighty-Four for the lower classes) dare to question their intellectual betters. Just like how the proles were kept down by Big Brother, the Progressivevik left seeks to do the same, with or without the government's help.
The proles of Nineteen Eighty-Four were the lowest caste in Oceanian society. They were exempted from much of Big Brother's tyranny, but kept in the dark with soccer, lotteries, pornography, and prostitution so they could never get too strong. In reality, the federal government has done the same thing with welfare, section 8 housing and the like. The sad reality that the Progressiveviks don't want to talk about is how they have done this to minorities. Instead of having prole centres, we have ghettoes and trailer parks both designed to keep the lower classes in a vicious cycle of constant poverty and helplessness. To the Progressivevik left, this is compassion, but the reality is it's really apartheid. Look, for example, at the ruckus that is kicked up when the issue of school vouchers are brought up. Notice how it is white Progressiveviks springing into action to defeat it. They certainly don't want blacks, Latinos, or some buck-toothed kids from the Ozarks sitting next to their perfect little Amber in her perfect little Abercrombie & Fitch outfit. She might (gasp!) realize he parents are mere lemmings or even worse, these lower class kids might actually have the same opportunity as her! (What a scandal!)
In order to combat this madness, we all have to become a Winston Smith. We have to ignore the Elephant and the Donkey once in a while to actually see the truth. We have to question authority in any way we can because it's the right thing to do. We as Conservatives , must, no matter how uncomfortable it becomes, be the true keepers of the flame. We have to be the ones to stand up for the truth about our history, our Founding Fathers, our Constitution, and most of all, the American Dream.
"Then you know the truth, and the truth will set you free." --John 8:32
Choke on that, ACLU.

Stupid Is As Stupid Already Did
The Progressivevik left has run out of ideas, despite the fact they're waaay, waaay smarter than everyone else.
They're trying another Stimulus bill.
Despite the fact that the last Stimulus package that headlined 198 million dollars for Fillipino World War II vets failed miserably, the Progressiveviks are giving it another go. It's like the old saying goes: "If at first you don't succeed at wrecking the American economy, try, try again to plunge the US into the Third World."
See, the reason legislative slop like Stimulus bills fail like the kid who played XBOX all night before the finals is the fact that isn't organic. Actual capitalism, not the crony capitalism we have now where CEOs run to Washington like two year-olds with a poop in their shorts any time there's a bump in the road, only works when someone has a product that no one can live without, or a service that can't be beat. Government can't do that. Government doesn't understand things like "supply and demand" and "profit and loss". When you add business to government, you get a really fat, bloated round round peg trying to squeeze itself into a square hole. (Or, Rachel Maddow trying to squeeze herself into one of Ann Coulter's little black dresses.)
The latest 35 billion dollar stinker from the Imperial Senate includes 20 billion for "transportation infrastructure" and the remaining 15 billion for "tax provisions" for hiring unemployed workers. On paper, it looks great, especially the tax cut part. But secretly, like everything else the government does, it sucks. (Pardon my crude language, but am I wrong ? These microcephalic morons can't deliver mail, for crying out loud!).
Let's look at the 20 billion for "transportation infrastructure". Tell me: When was the last time a road ever produced a profit ? When it's completed, what does it do ? Sure, it provides easy transportation for goods and services, but what else does it do, other than require further maintenance at taxpayer expense ? Not a whole lot. What happens to the workers when the latest "road to nowhere" is finally completed way over budget and a year or two late ? They're back on the unemployment gravy train once again. This doesn't solve anything or create any actual permanent jobs, it's like putting a band-aid on a point-blank shotgun wound. Actual, permanent, full time private sector jobs are needed, not governmental busy work. (I don't need to bring up the fact that the private sector keeps the bloated public sector afloat, do I ? I do try to keep myself distinct from the other Right Wing Extremist columnists.)
Even more maddening is the "tax provisions" for hiring unemployed workers. Don't get me wrong, it's a step in the right direction. But what good does that really do when you have the avalanche of absurd tax hikes and the evil VAT tax on their way ? The bill calls for a 1,000 dollar credit for workers retained after a year. That's nice, I guess. It's sort of like giving the wife a vacuum cleaner for Valentines Day. Sure, a vacuum cleaner might be useful, but it's not exactly going to help light the fireworks. When Mom and Pop businesses can't get credit, that 1,000 dollar credit isn't going to mean a thing. When the tax hikes for the 250 thousand dollar a year millionaires take effect, small business owners will be crushed under the gauntlet of Big Brother, and won't be able to hire anyone. God forbid Obamacareless or Cap and Trade passes, then we'll see Zimbabwe-like unemployment. Call me crazy and off my meds, but I don't think a 1,000 dollar tax credit is going to help anything or anyone. Bummer, I know.
If Washington was really interested in helping, they'd simply stop trying to help. What these "f-ing ret"---oh wait, that's not politically correct, what these dullards don't get is every dollar the federal government spends must be paid back. Now, I know that's a concept that's hard for Congress (emphasis on the con) to understand, but every dollar they spend will have to paid back somehow, whether it's in higher taxes or inflation for printing money, or worse, another drop of our sovereignty to our creditors like China. I'd be hard pressed to call this help in any way, shape, or form.
Isn't it weird how we went from "Change We Can Believe In" to "Stupid is as stupid already did" ?

Goober Strikes Again
At a press conference this week, Propaganda Minister Robert Gibbs, affectionately known as "Goober" here at Absolutely Nobama, wrote gibberish on his hand to mock Sarah Palin, who wrote notes on her hand before a major speech at the Tea Party Convention, in a lame attempt at humor.
This really annoyed me. Not just because I support Governor Palin, but this kind of buffoonery was done while the country was circling the bowl. It was surreal. It was like watching a football team that was down 35-0 in the first quarter cheering that they gained a first down.
Last time I checked, Goober and his master, Chairman Obama, have made the the Keystone Cops look competent.
Hey Goobs, before you try to make Sarah Palin look stupid again, you might want to keep the following in mind:
--Chairman Obama didn't look very smart when he called the Cambridge police officers who arrested Henry Louis Gates for acting like a loon stupid.
--Chairman Obama looked very un-Messiah like when he made fun of the Special Olympics on The Jay Leno show.
--What happened to the 2016 Olympics ? How did a third world country get the Olympics before the most powerful nation on God's green (and not to mention cooling) earth ?
--I thought unemployment wasn't supposed to go over 8%. What gives ? It's at 9.7%!
--It is generally unwise to appoint communists like Van Jones as a Czar. (Did I mention that they're UNELECTED ? And, by the way, does anyone at the Oval Orifice know how to use Google ? One Google check and I'm fairly certain Comrade Jones or Eugenicist Holdren would not have been appointed to any sort of Czar position. They'd be on some sort of watch list instead.)
--Corpsman is pronounced "core-man" not "corpse-man".
--Austria's official language is German, not "Austrian." There is an Austrian dialect to be sure, but it is not a distinct language.
--There are 50 states, not 57. Don't they teach geography at Haw-vard anymore ?
--You can't play CD's made in America on British DVD players. (What happened ? The cheapskate couldn't buy Blu-Rays for the Queen of England ? I guess chivalry is dead, after all.)
--It is a serious breach of protocol for the President of The United States to bow to foreign monarchs. Last time I checked, we fought a Revolutionary War so we as Americans would never be forced to be bow to anyone. Call me crazy and off my meds.
--It has been over a year and Gitmo is still open. (Thank God!)
--Have you ever met our Vice President "Paying Taxes Is Patriotic" Biden ? This guy makes Ed Schultz look like a Rhodes Scholar.
We could go on, Goober, but let's face facts: This is too much non-spin, unadulterated truth for you. If you were to read too much of it, your brain would shut down and we might not have anyone as comical to replace you with. (And Rahm Emmanuel might call you "f-ing retarded" and hurt your feelings.)
In closing ,Goober, you and your boss might want to accomplish more than allowing party crashers to crash a state dinner with a foreign head of state in attendance before you criticize others for paying attention to detail.
Blind! Blind, He Is!
Recently, at a Republican shindig, our Dear Leader, Chairman Obama, said the following:
"I'm not an ideologue."
The sad thing is, I think he means it. He honestly believes the snake oil he's selling is actually mainstream thought. This isn't like the bogus claims of "Mission Accomplished" or "I am not a crook", this is what the man actually thinks.
How scary is that ?
We have a sitting President who wholeheartedly believes in socialism and spreading the wealth around. We have a President who wanted to sit down with Iran's religious nut-job dictator without preconditions. We have a President who hates the military so much he can't pronounce "corpsman" correctly. We have a President who claimed tears streamed down his cheeks as a racist pastor claimed "White man's greed creates a world in need". We have a President who not only started his political "career" in the living room of a former terrorist, he appointed communists and Mao-lovers to his cabinet. I could go on, but it's old hat at this point. (Don't even get me started about death panels and the eco-pixie dust known as clean energy.) The point is: This was an incredibly dangerous statement.
The problem with egomaniacs like Chairman Obama is their belief that everyone believes the way they do, and those who voice their opposition aren't just wrong, they're bleeding imbeciles. Obama wasn't trying to defend himself. He was stating the fact that no matter what anyone says or does, he's not budging from his positions on anything. It doesn't matter how much farther the US sinks into the Third World, he's not going to change course. It doesn't matter how many lives and families his policies destroy, he's right and everyone else is wrong, especially the hated Republicans.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not rooting for the Republican party. I am, after all, not a Republican, I'm a Libertarian. Above that, I'm a Conservative. And waaaay above all those labels, I'm an American, and my country is trouble. No matter how many bipartisan ho-downs Obama has, there won't be any consensus on anything, due to Obama's blindness to his own rhetoric. At a time when we need leadership most, we don't have a leader, we have a crybaby wearing expensive suits and having 24,000 dollar date nights.
If this keeps up it will no longer be "We The People", it will be "We The Victims".......

2+2=5
Recently, I watched the 1984 remake of the movie 1984 starring John Hurt. It's a depressing little tale about a futuristic fascist Britain. The hero, Winston Smith, is a writer who is unhappy with the utopian government of Big Brother, which regulates every detail of the citizenry's life. Smith runs afoul of Big Brother when he decides he's had enough of being told what to do and how to do it by some bureaucrat. (Is there any further reason for this not be a "must see" for Conservatives ?)
In any event, when Smith is captured by Big Brother, he is psychologically tortured. One of the many tortures Smith suffers is being given electric shocks for not believing 2+2=5. The torturer wanted Smith to believe 2+2=5 because Big Brother said so, despite the fact that Smith's own common sense told him 2+2=4.
Sound familiar ?
The Progressivevik left believes in the same tactics as Big Brother, although they haven't gotten around to electric shocks. For example, despite the northeast being covered in snow, the government expects us to wholeheartedly believe in the religion of Global Warming and be willing to suspend our disbelief and cough up our hard earned cash. Another fantastic example is how the unemployment rate magically dropped to 9.7% despite the fact there are no help wanted signs in shop windows or the fact that help wanted sections in newspapers are shorter than Barack Obama's resume. And yet, Chairman Obama wants us to stop watching cable news.
Are you kidding me ?
The oldest trick in the book for any government wanting to maintain its power is sleight of hand. While we as Conservatives are arguing the merits of Don't Ask Don't Tell, Obama Hood and his Merry Band of Socialists are cooking up the Value Added Tax, which would cripple the economy further. While the Tea Party Movement was all riled up about Grandma being offed by some death panel, the EPA silently announces that that if Congress (Emphasis on the con) doesn't pass Cap and Trade, they'll enforce enviro-wacko regulations that they have decided must be enacted. Nevermind 2+2=5. If we're not careful, 2+2 will equal whatever the hell the federal government says it is, regardless of how illogical and downright stupid it is.
Never has our beloved Republic been at such a crossroads. Never has our rights to Life, Liberty, and The Pursuit of Happiness have ever been in such jeopardy. There is a light at the end of the tunnel, however. We have the 2010 mid term elections around the corner. I'm not going to come out and scream "Vote Republican!" like some partisan hack. It's deeper than that. Don't waste your time voting for the Donkey or the Elephant, vote for the person who makes the most sense to you. If that person is a Democrat, fine. If that person is a Republican, that's fine, too. If that person burns with the same desire for freedom and liberty that you have, well dear reader, there's your candidate.
November's around the corner. Let's make 2+2=4 once again.

Why Conservatism Is Waaay Better Than Progressivevikism
Why am I Conservative ?
You know, after years of being a capitalism loving free spirit, I've never bothered to ask myself this question.
Why ? Why have I chosen to be a hated Conservative when life would be so much easier as an Obama drone ?
The answer is very simple: I have a brain and Conservatism has no set ethos. I actually have an idea how the world works, and you know what ? Conservatism is the only way to go. True Conservative values are a lot more than "smaller government, lower taxes, blah..blah..blah" (Don't get me wrong, these are core values. I just hate the automaton answer that sounds like it was ripped from George Will's brain.) The main core value of any true Conservative is: Freedom.
I'll be honest with you. I'm not in the richest 1% that pays most of the country's taxes. You know what else ? Books on the horrors of Keynsian economics bore me to death. You know what else ? I thought Sarah Palin's calling for Rahm Emmanuel's head was deplorable. But that's okay, you know why ? Conservatism is all about the freedom of thoughts and hearts. You want a big tent ? Go Conservative.
See, true Conseravtism has ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with a dogma that would make the Catholic Church blush. It's about using your head for more than a hat rack.
Let's take Sarah Palin's complaints about Deadfish Emmanuel. Ol' Rahmbo, Chairman Obama's top political hitman and his Chief of Staff. He called the the leftwing activists "f-ing retarded" for opposing the Obamacareless scam that was being shoved down everyone's throat. Was it a deplorable choice words ? Sure, but who amongst us hasn't used the new R-Word as an abjective describing stupidity ? C'mon, be honest. We all have. In Rahmbo's defense, it wasn't in a speech. It was a private conversation that Deadfish never thought was going to see the light of day. There's a Yiddish word for this: Yenta. A yenta is a person who sits around complaining about every little thing, and unfortunately, that's what Sarah Palin sounded like when she called for Rahmbo's firing.
Does that mean I'm all of a sudden not a Sarah Palin supporter who hangs on her every word ? Of course not. I'd vote for her tomorrow for President of the whole world if I could. I just happen not to agree with her on this one issue.
Then, we have the Progressiveviks and their Nazi Block Watcher of The Week attitude. (A term first coined by Ann Coulter.) Look, for example, how the Progressivevik left treated Joe Lieberman and his wife Hadrassah. He killed the public option during the Obamacareless debate and the Progressiveviks called for his head and demanded that Hadrassah be fired from the charity boards she works on. Why ? He exercised his own values and went against the herd, so he had to be punished. Nevermind the fact the fact Lieberman himself is so liberal he'd cut off his right hand to make a point or that he voted for everything else Obama's goons cooked up. He just happened not to agree with one point and was hung out to dry.
True Conservatism is the Zen Buddhism of the political spectrum. We can disagree without being disagreeable. How does this work ? The foundation of Conservatism is freedom, of both heart and mind.
Freedom....A country I used to live in was based on that.....
