A Guest Columnist

Folks, I, your humble Right Wing Extremist columnist, am feeling very lazy. So, like all other big name media titans, I am using a fill in. Let's give a warm welcome to Bob Herbert of the New York Slimes! Take it away, Bob!

America is better than Glenn Beck. For all of his celebrity, Mr. Beck is an ignorant, divisive, pathetic figure. On the anniversary of the great 1963 March on Washington he will stand in the shadows of giants — Abraham Lincoln and the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Who do you think is more representative of this nation?
Bob Herbert
Consider a brief sampling of their rhetoric.
Lincoln: “A house divided against itself cannot stand.”
King: “Never succumb to the temptation of becoming bitter.”
Beck: “I think the president is a racist.”
Washington was on edge on the morning of Aug. 28, 1963. The day was sunny and very warm and N-groes, as we were called in those days, were coming into town by the tens of thousands. The sale of liquor was banned. Troops stood by to restore order if matters got out of control. President John F. Kennedy waited anxiously in the White House to see how the day would unfold.
It unfolded splendidly. The crowd for the “March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom” grew to some 250,000. Nearly a quarter of the marchers were white. They gathered at the Lincoln Memorial, where they were enthralled by the singing of Mahalia Jackson and Joan Baez. The march was all about inclusion and the day seemed to swell with an extraordinary sense of camaraderie and good feeling.
The climax, of course, was Dr. King’s transcendent "I Have A Dream" speech. Jerald Podair, a professor of American studies at Lawrence University in Wisconsin, has called Aug. 28, 1963, “the most important single day in civil rights history.” This is the historical legacy that Glenn Beck, a small man with a mean message, has chosen to tread upon with his cynical rally on Saturday at that very same Lincoln Memorial.
Beck is a provocateur who likes to play with matches in the tinderbox of racial and ethnic confrontation. He seems oblivious to the real danger of his execrable behavior. He famously described President Obama as a man “who has a deep-seated hatred for white people or the white culture.”
He is an integral part of the vicious effort by the Tea Party and other elements of the right wing to portray Mr. Obama as somehow alien, a strange figure who is separate and apart from — outside of — ordinary American life. As the watchdog group Media Matters for America has noted, Beck said of the president, “He chose to use the name, Barack, for a reason, to identify not with America — you don’t take the name Barack to identify with America. You take the name Barack to identify, with what? Your heritage? The heritage, maybe, of your father in Kenya, who is a radical?”
Facts and reality mean nothing to Beck. And there is no road too low for him to slither upon. The Southern Poverty Law Center tells us that in a twist on the civil rights movement, Beck said on the air that he “wouldn’t be surprised if in our lifetime dogs and fire hoses are released or opened on us. I wouldn’t be surprised if a few of us get a billy club to the head. I wouldn’t be surprised if some of us go to jail — just like Martin Luther King did — on trumped-up charges. Tough times are coming.”
He makes you want to take a shower.
In Beck’s view, President Obama is driven by a desire to settle “old racial scores” and his ultimate goal is “reparations” for black Americans. Abe Lincoln and Dr. King could only look on aghast at this clown.
Beck has been advertising his rally as nonpolitical, but its main speaker is Sarah Palin. She had her own low moment recently as a racial provocateur, publicly voicing her support for Laura Schlessinger, radio’s “Dr. Laura,” who went out of her way to humiliate a black caller by continuously using the n-word to make a point, even after the caller had made it clear that she was offended.
Palin’s advice to Schlessinger: “Don’t retreat — reload.”
There is a great deal of hatred and bigotry in this country, but it does not define the country. The daily experience of most Americans is not a bitter experience and for all of our problems we are in a much better place on these matters than we were a half century ago.
But I worry about the potential for violence that grows out of unrestrained, hostile bombast. We’ve seen it so often. A little more than two weeks after the 1963 March on Washington, the 16th Street Baptist Church in Birmingham was bombed by the Ku Klux Klan and four young black girls were killed. And three months after the march, Jack Kennedy was assassinated.
My sincere advice to Beck, Palin and their followers is chill, baby, chill.
A version of this op-ed appeared in print on August 28, 2010, on page A19 of the New York edition.

Actually, this is a set up. This is a hit piece on you, Bob. Just like my readers, I loathe you.

See Bob, the reason why Glenn Beck is so big is...you and the rest of the 2+2=5 Mob that calls itself the mainstream media is so small intellectually. You expected We The People to turn into We the Progressiveviks because you snapped your fingers. Here's a hint for you, Bob. We're not Pavlovian dogs that respond to stimuli. We're human beings. We think. We feel. We think Beck is right and the country is on a Bataan Death March towards oblivion. We feel Chairman Obama is the divisive one, not the human cartoon character who plays Six Degrees of Barack Hussein Obama for a living.

Where was your outrage when our Dear Leader called his own grandmother who raised him a "typical white person" ? Why weren't you hacking away on your keyboard when Obama was bowing to the King of Saudi Arabia who, at last check, has a Gestapo-like "morality police" who have women flogged for being out and about without a burqa ? Why weren't you screaming at the top of your lungs when the Failed Messiah made fun of the Special Olympics ? Well, Bob ?

The reason why there is a 9/12 Project, Freedomworks, 8/28 Rally, and the like is the fact that We The People are dissatisfied. Barack Obama is foreign. No, I'm not saying he was born in Kenya, (maybe I am if it annoys you) but he has done his level headed best to change this country from a Constitutional Republic into a European Social Democracy. We don't want the crony capitalism of bailouts for financial institutions and unions. We don't want the rationing of state-run health care. We want the First Amendment exactly as written. No, Bob, we don't want to be forced to green our houses against our will. We like our guns and we're keeping them. Every poll, from Rassmussen to the one Destiny swings on as she "works" her way through college, says the American people don't want a "fundamentally changed" America, we want a restored one.

Bob, we know tough times are coming. I wouldn't be surprised if dogs and hoses are used on the Tea Party. After all, Big Mommy doesn't like her authority being questioned. For example, if I choose to do what I want with my own money and not buy health insurance in 2013, I risk jail time. With a blatant attack on civil liberties like that, why shouldn't I believe Homeland Security agents might do God knows what to quell dissent ?

Bob, we're not racist. We're not violent. We're simply not going to remain silent anymore. We The People are the ones who make this country work. We're the phone sales managers who solve customer service issues. We're the telemarketers who interrupt your dinner. We're the make up artists who give you a spray tan for your night out on the town. We're the 911 operators who take your phone call when your father in law faints in your dining room. We're the delivery drivers, the dispatchers, the overworked waitress with a sick two year-old at home. We're the ones who matter, Bob. Frankly, we're annoyed.

Normally, I'd end this with "God help us all." Today, I don't have to. God did help us with the 8/28 Rally.

Insanity, Progressivevik Style

"The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results."--Albert Einstein

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Who can argue with that ? Who in their right mind, with a fully functioning cerebral cortex and no discernible head trauma can argue with that ?

Your modern tattooed, wallet chain wearing, unemployed, Media Matters believing, Obama Progressivevik drone.

Since the beginning of the Progressivevik Error, the United States political scene has been the definition of insanity. For decades, we've had an endless cyle of Progressivevik failue and Conservative reform that led to a golden era in American hisrory. If you'll notice:

--The ugliness of Woodrow Wilson's war socialism, "three minute men" propaganda spewers, and the direct attack on the First Amendment was replaced by the economic good times of the Roaring Twenties, which were spurred on by the slashing of government and taxes by Conservative Presidents Warren G. Harding and Calvin Coolidge.

--The absolute horrors that were the regimes of Franklin Dictator Roosevelt and Harry I Wish It Weren't Truman were replaced by the good times that were the late Fifties. On the watch of Franklin Dictator Roosevelt, we had a recession turn into the Great Depression and a little engagement you may have heard of called World War II. After Franklin Dictator Roosevelt retired to his grave, his henchman Truman sat back and watched as the Soviet Union replaced Nazi Germany as Europe's conquerer. This emboldened communists the world over, especially in the vacation spots known as Korea and Vietnam. During the administration of Republican President Dwight D. Eisenhower, we had sock hops, luncheonette counters, the hula hoop, and the '57 Chevy that did not require the President of the United States to beg citizens to buy. Most importantly, the good times of the late 50's laid the foundations of the Civil Rights Movement of Dr. Martin Luther King. (I say this not to be politically correct, I honestly believe this, as do the majority of Americans.)

--After the assassination of JFK, the United States had uninterrupted Progressivevik rule through the Carter Accident. LBJ brought us the socialism of welfare and Medicaid, and the escalation of the Vietnam War. Trickie Dickie tried to nationalize healthcare along with a certain Massachusetts Senator who should have died in prison for murder. (No, Nixon was not a Conservative.) Ford bored the nation into voting for the anti-Semite peanut farmer Jimmy Carter, who proceeded to give America a Department of Energy that produces no energy and a Department of Education that has yet to educate a single child. Many feared the Carter Accident was the final nail in America's coffin, until Ronald Reagan came along and destroyed the Soviet Empire without firing a single shot and made America fabulously wealthy at the same time.

We could go on and on, with Newt Gingrich's Conservative uprising that that led to welfare reform and the totally rad Nineties that Bill Clinton helped usher in against his will or the rebirth of the state of New Jersey under Chris Christie. It would be an insane act if I tried to list them all.

The point is this, America. No matter how the Progressiveviks package it, whether they call it the New Deal, The Great Society, Hope and Change, or 2+2=5, it's all the same crap that leads to disaster. Why keep perpetuating the same vicious cycle ? Are we insane as Albert Einstein would define it ?

God help us all if we are.

A Legal Act Of Terror

The one thing I have always promised the readers of this column is the truth. I never sugar coat it. I don't wrap it into neat little packages and I don't do "politically correct". I call them as I see them. That being said, without further ado--

The Ground Zero Mosque is an act of terror.

There are those like Katie Couric and Rachel Maddcow who will call me a bigot. Janet From Another Planet Napolitano might put me on some sort of watch list. Princess Nancy, Ruler of the People's Republic of Pelosi, will probably want to investigate who's paying me to write this column. (The answer is no one, you botoxed fascist. Considering what you and the rest of the 2+2=5 Progressivevik Junta that makes up Congress have to done to the economy, I wish someone was.) Well, I don't care. I'm not afraid. I'm willing to look at evil dead in the eye and kick it in the nuts.

The House of Hatred at Park 51 has nothing to do with tolerance, God, or touchy-feely nonsense. It has everything to do with promoting Shariah law and sticking it to America. Oh, what's that, Olbermann ? I'm a hatemonger ? What do you make of this quote from Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf, the chief instigator of this mess, in his column in the HuffingtonandPuffington Post:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"But it is important that we understand what is meant by Shariah law. Islamic law is about God's law, and it is not that far from what we read in the Declaration of Independence about 'the Laws of Nature and Nature's God.' "

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Not far from the Declaration of Independence ? Where in the Declaration does it mention forcing women to wear burqas ? Where in the Declaration of Independence does it say we should stone people to death for adultery or wage jihad against unbelievers ?

From the above statement, we can see that Rauf sees no difference between Shariah law and the principles that founded our nation. How is this not a humongous red flag ? How on God's green, and not to mention cooling, earth can we trust Feisal Abdul Rauf's motives if he believes that there is little difference between Shariah law and Constitutional law ?

If you mix the above statement with Rauf's refusal to condmemn Hamas as a terrorist organization and his statements about how the United States has more blood on its hands than al-Qaeda, his true vision for the House of Hatred at Park 51 becomes crystal clear: It's a legal act of terror, almost as ominous as 9/11 itself. It will prove that America can be defeated by its own laws. After the House of Hatred, we'll start seeing more Shariah compliant institutions. Within a generation or two, the United States will be like Great Britain and France, fighting off Shariah separatists in their own countries.

God help us all.

Herr Speaker Has Spoken

"There is no question that there is a concerted effort to make this a political issue by some. And I join those who have called for looking into how is this opposition to the mosque (is) being funded." --Princess Nancy, Ruler of The People's Republic of Pelosi, on Tuesday.

"I support the statement made by the Interfaith Alliance that 'We agree with the (Anti-Defamation League) that there is a need for transparency about who is funding the effort to build this Islamic center. At the same time, we should also ask who is funding the attacks against the construction of the center" --Princess Nancy, trying to save her skin on Wednesday.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You want answers, Your Highness ? Ok. The answer is this: None of your f-ing business, you fascist witch.

Sorry, folks. I can't even fake being civil on this one. Quite frankly, this outrage is almost as bad as the Hamasque. We have the Speaker of The House calling for investigations for those who are exercising their First Amendment right to speak freely. We have the Speaker of The House sounding like she's the Speaker of The Reichstag in 1933. Good bye America, hello Fourth Reich. You'll have to pardon my foul mood. Watching my freedom being slowly but surely being taken away tends to make me hostile.

That may seem melodramatic to some, but we no longer live in times where we can sit back, crack open a beer, and tell ourselves "That can't happen here." We now live in a time that forces us to say, "Well, I hope that's not true." Left and right no longer matter, now it's a question of who has power and who doesn't. Princess Nancy isn't some back bencher, or a helpless dork like Dennis Kucinich. She has the power to make her wishes become reality. Grease has been added to the Slippery Slope, as the government is now threatening those who refuse to go along with the program.

Folks, if you think the Midterms are going to be a magical cure-all for this insanity, you're not paying attention. Will the good guys win ? Sure, but it will be like putting a Hello Kitty band-aid on a stage 4 cancerous tumor. We The People have got to drive a wooden stake into the heart of the Progressivevik movement. No, I'm not talking about violence, Secretary Napolitano, so you can remove your snipers from my roof. I'm talking about standing up and screaming at the top your lungs: "Bullsh--! You can't make me!" For my friends on the Religious Right, feel free to keep it at a simple "No thank you." (We aim to please here at Absolutely Nobama.) That's all it takes. Fascism needs the consent of the governed to work, just like our beloved Constitutional Republic.

Madam Speaker, we all know what your favorite word is. Ours is NO, as in no, you will not take our rights from us, as in, no, you will not tell us what to think, and no, 2+2 does not equal five.

God help us all.

Go Pee Up A Rope, Progressiveviks!

“The race to the bottom in the Republican party this year – whether it is around revisiting the 14th amendment, whether it’s around immigration, or whether it is around this now [the 9/11 Mosquerade] – the race to the bottom means 2012 could be very, very depressing to watch. It’s almost like the party decided to update itself as the Know-nothing version 2.0.” --Anita Dunn, former head Maoist of the Obama administration

Is it me, or is this the only way the Progressiveviks know how to answer any question ? Oh, you don't like Obamacare(less) ? You're a racist. Oh, you want to protect our borders ? You're an Archie Bunker wanna-be. Oh, you don't want to be taxed to death ? You want to see school children in the inner cities suffer. Against gay marriage ? You are a homophobe. Not thrilled with the 9/11 Mosquerade ? You're an Islamophobe. It goes on and on, ad nauseum.

Take heart, True Believer. This means We The People are winning and They The 2+2=5 Progressiveviks are losing.

See, the reason useful idiots like Anita Dunn lash out with crap like this is simple. They can't defend anything they believe in. No one in their right mind can possibly agree with the Progressivevik dystopian vision. For example, I once tried to explain Keynsian economics to my cats. Bootsies and Buddi immediately began making protest signs and joined up with Freedomworks. Yes, folks, even non simians can't be fooled into believing in anything that Chairman Obama and his cronies are trying to force us to believe in. (However, the cats are still forbidden to read Animal Farm. Better safe than sorry.)

The moral to this little rant is this: Let 'em go pee up a rope. Let the Anita Dunns, the Van Joneses, the talentless Keith Olbermanns, and the Rachel Maddcows of the world call us racists, poopheads, teabaggers, or anything else their simple minds can conjure up. Only sticks and stones will brake our bones, after all. The point is, we've got 'em on the ropes, (not the ones they peed up, of course.) and soon we'll be knocking 'em out. It will be a November To Remember in Progressivakia for sure.

Normally, I'd end this column with : "God help us all", but Anita's whining is proof that The Big Conservative Upstairs is listening and He's on our side.

Not So Fast, Urkel!

On Friday night, as Chairman Obama celebrated Ramadan, he spoke eloquently about how, in the name of religious freedom, the Cordoba Initiative should be allowed to be build the 9/11 Mosquerade. On Saturday, after a possible profanity laced tirade by Rahm Emmanuel or a tearful plea from David Axelrod, Obama backpedaled faster than Deion Sanders covering Jerry Rice.

Not so fast, Urkel. We The People demand answers.

This is not just your ordinary Presidential oopsie. This isn't Hillary's Less Than Faithful Husband pleading his innocence in the question of whether or not he touched the chubby intern. This isn't Tricky Dickie proclaiming that he's squeaky clean in the Watergate mess, and this isn't Bush foolishly standing in front of a banner that says "Mission Accomplished" with thousands of troops still risking their lives trying to "win hearts and minds". This is different.

No, Benjamin Jealous, it's not because Chairman Obama is black. Kindly remove your protesters from my lawn.

This all about Chairman Obama's character. Now, we all have skeletons in our closets. Our Dear Leader, however has a cemetery full of them in his closet that come to life every full moon. Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't our Failed Messiah:

--say that America is one of the great Muslim nations on the planet ?

--spend part of his youth in Indonesia, attending Muslim religious schools ?

--hang out with Rashid Khalidi, a Palestinian terror apologist ?

--ban the use of the words "Islamic terrorist" by his administration ?

--instruct his NASA chief to make Muslims feel good about their contributions toward science ?

--instruct Hitlery Clinton to hand $500 million smackers to help rebuild Gaza, knowing full well the money would end up in Hamas' greedy paws ?

--give a speech at West Point to the cadets that might be shipping out to Afghanistan that lacked the word "victory" ?

--blurt out some weird shout-outs before his speech on the Fort Hood terror attack ?

--hang with Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn of the Palestinian Flotilla fame ?

Of, course we can go on and on and on and on.........

The bottom line is this: We can't trust Chairman Obama's motives. Whether it's the stunning revelations of communists in the White House like Anita Dunn, Ron Bloom, Van Jones, and Carol Browner, appointing a weirdo like Andy Stern to the Deficit Reduction Committee, or standing with Mexico's President as he rips into Congress over the Arizona Immigration Law, or making a speeches abroad that criticize America, something seemed off. Chairman Obama was always the milk you were never quite sure about.

Until now. Now the milk is spoiled. Chairman Obama has succeeded in completely alienating the country with his support of the 9/11 Mosquerade.

If Chairman Obama gave a crap about this country and its morale, he would have stood up at that Ramadan dinner and said, "Let me be perfectly clear. You may have the right to build the Cordoba project, but that doesn't make it right. We must remember that our rights end at the point where they interfere with someone else's. This project interferes with the rights of New Yorkers not to be offended. In the name of the unity I have pledged to bring to our country, I respectfully ask that the project be moved elsewhere." Even if he didn't mean it 100%, it would have meant something to all of us proles.

God help us all.

We All Saw This Coming, Didn't We ?

From The Hill.com:

President Obama said at a dinner celebrating the Islamic holy month that he supports the controversial mosque project near the site of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks in New York.
"Now, we must all recognize and respect the sensitivities surrounding the development of Lower Manhattan," Obama said at Friday's iftar meal breaking the day's fast for Ramadan. 'The 9/11 attacks were a deeply traumatic event for our country. And the pain and the experience of suffering by those who lost loved ones is just unimaginable. So I understand the emotions that this issue engenders. And Ground Zero is, indeed, hallowed ground."
"But let me be clear," Obama continued. "As a citizen, and as president, I believe that Muslims have the same right to practice their religion as everyone else in this country. And that includes the right to build a place of worship and a community center on private property in Lower Manhattan, in accordance with local laws and ordinances. This is America."

Yes, you read that right. While breaking the Ramadan fast, Chairman Obama defended building a mosque at Ground Zero.

Now, I'm not going to get in the whole "Is-It-Constitutional" hubballoo over the 9/11 mosque. A careful reading of the First Amendment shows that the city and state of New York both do indeed have the power to shut this whole thing down. (Check out my blog Constitutional, You Say ? for further details on that.) This rant is about our Dear Leader's tone deafness.

We have a sitting President of The United States sitting at an iftar dinner defending the right to build a mosque at the site of the worst act of Islamic terror in world history.

We have a sitting President of The United States who has sent thousands of young Americans to war in Afghanistan defending the right of their enemies to have a place to gloat.

We have a sitting President of The United States once again giving the middle finger to We The People.

I think at this point, Chairman Obama hates us all. No, really. That's the only possible explanation I can possibly come up with. This is a man so full of hatred towards this country and its citizens that he'll do anything to humiliate it. Sure, we had the bowing to King Abdullah and the Emperor of Japan, the European Apology Tour, joining Hugo Chavez's book club, and the Cairo Surrender Speech, but this is different. This goes beyond the usual Progressivevik "Citizen of The World" crap on a stick. This is a slap in the face of America.
Chairman Obama's endorsement of building this house of hatred so close to Ground Zero is like Woodrow Wilson attending the Kaiser's retirement party. It's like Franklin Dictator Roosevelt attending a Hitler Youth rally. It's like Truman being a guest lecturer at a North Korean reeducation camp, or Ronald Reagan marching in a May Day rally. (Yes, I know, Glenn. Woodrow Wilson would have jumped at the chance to hang with Der Kaiser. The example is for illustration purposes only. Go play Six Degrees of Chairman Obama until I finish.) That's how insulting this is.

If Chairman Obama gave a damn how the majority of Americans felt on this matter, he could have at least lied. After all, NYC's worthless Mayor, Michael Bloomberg had given thumbs up to the project, and the even more worthless governor of New York David Paterson did nothing but attempt to appease. Those two factors alone green lighted the mosque. Obama could have given a half hearted speech denouncing the whole mess and look like a hero.

Yet, he refused. It was as if he were saying, "You people have rejected me one too many times. Time for a little payback."

Of course, I don't have proof of this. I can't read minds. I can only interpret actions. Obama's actions clearly states he hates America and our way of life. To that, I say--

God help us all.

Constitutional, You Say ?

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances."

For those of you who were educationally abused in our public school system, the above is the First Amendment. It may very well be the most important sentence ever written in the English language, since it's the backbone of American society. It guarantees the rest of the Constitution. No other part of the Bill of Rights has ever generated the debates the First Amendment has, despite being crystal clear.

What the uninformed do not understand about the First Amendment is that it is a negative right. It does not guarantee what you can do, it only guarantees what can't be done to you by the Big Mommy Regime. Now this may be news to the 2+2=5 Progressivevik crowd and to idiots like Pete Stark (Commie-CA), but there are limits to what Big Mommy is allowed to do.

However, there is plenty states can do, like, oh, I don't know, forbidding mosques being built at Ground Zero.

The First Amendment limits what Congress can and can't do about religion, but it leaves the door wide open for the Dystopia known as New York to stop the Cordoba Project dead in its tracks. By a strict reading of the First Amendment, you'll notice that the words "state government" or "local government" are curiously absent. That means the state (or more appropriately the city) of New York can act to prevent the mosque from being built two blocks from Ground Zero. This would not violate the First Amendment since they wouldn't be forbidding the building of all mosques, just that one in particular. (For bleeding imbeciles like Ed Schultz, all cities and towns in the US have little things called "zoning laws" that are designed to keep inappropriate buildings away from each other. It's why we don't have nudie bars next to preschools.)

The moral to this story is this: Michael Bloomberg, grow a set. You're the mayor of the largest city in the world. You have a responsibility to apply the law as it's written, not the way you want it to be. Is this Cordoba hubbaloo a test of our Constitution ? ABSO-FREAKING-LUTELY! Will you pass the test, Mike ?

God help us all.

Why I Support Prop 8 And No, I'm Not A Bigot

The whole gay marriage thing has reared its ugly head again. Chief US District Judge Vaughn Walker, while nullifying the will of the people of California, struck down Proposition 8 that said marriage was a union between a man and a woman. In his 136 page ruling, Walker wrote that Prop 8 "prevents California from fulfilling its constitutional obligation to provide marriages on an equal basis", and my personal favorite, "Moral disapproval alone is an improper basis on which to deny rights to gay men and lesbians."

*SIGH!* Here we go again. I know that my explanation is going to fall on the deaf ears of the 2+2=5 Progressivevik crowd, but let's give it a try for the millionth, zillionth time. Proposition 8 has nothing to do with hating homosexuals. It has everything to do with preserving religious liberty and not having political views that are alien to American culture shoved down the throats of We The People.

I, like most rational people, couldn't give a crap less about what two consenting adults do in their bedrooms. It's none of my business. However, I resent the Big Mommy Regime telling me "Forget that nonsense you learned in Hebrew school. We know better than God." Last time I checked, The Torah, The New Testament, and The Koran all say that homosexuality is a sin, and marriage is between a man and a woman only. By changing God's rules, the state then becomes bigger than God. Call me crazy and off my meds, but I don't think that's a swell idea, do you ?

Another thing to consider is this: If Proposition 8 and all other laws like it are struck down, rabbis, priests, pastors, and mullahs can be forced to perform gay marriages, regardless of what their religious views are. In theory, they can then be sued for practicing their religion. At that point, religious freedom will be destroyed in America. I don't know about you, but the last thing I want is the Big Mommy Regime telling me how to interpret God's will. That's between me and The Big Conservative Upstairs. We don't need a middle man.

One thing I do support is civil unions that gives the same legal status to gay couples as heterosexual couples. I fully support the idea of gay partners being able to will their belongings to each other, being able to grant each other power of attorney, etc. To deny anyone of those rights is wrong. However, the word marriage has a cultural and religious meaning that the government has no right or authority to screw around with.

For the Progressiveviks who a reading this and for those who can't wait to post this column all over the Internet as an example of "Right Wing Extremist Hate" , I'd like to introduce you to someone who shares the same view as me on this subject:

CHAIRMAN OBAMA, PRETEND THERE'S A FOREIGN MONARCH STANDING IN FRONT OF YOU AND TAKE A BOW!

God help us all.

What Happened To The Party Of No ?

You can relax, Chairman Obama. The Republican Party has ceased being the "Party of No" and has instead become "The Party of Maybe".

Your plan to subvert the Constitution is safe, O Master of Wealth Redistribution. Five "Republicans" jumped ship and voted for your latest disaster of an appointee, the Evil Hobbit known as Elena Kagan, to join the Supreme Court of the United States. Once again, the will of the people is thwarted. Congrats.

That's right, True Believers, Elena Kagan is going to become the 112th Supreme Court Justice. How can that be, you ask ? How can that be when there are 41 Republican Imperial Senators, which is the magic number to filibuster any of Chairman Obama's socialist plots ? That's easy. There were five "Republican" traitors: Richard Lugar of Indiana, Judd Nelson of New Hampshire, Lindsey Grahamnesty of South Carolina, and Maine's Olympia Snowejob and Susan Collins. (Benedict Nelson of Nebraska voted "no" in a transparent attempt to salvage his reputation in Cornhusker country.)

There is ABSOLUTELY no justification for voting "yes" to send Elena Kagan to the Supreme Court. She isn't some harmless centrist, she's a leftist ideologue. Elena Kagan wrote a paper in college that bemoaned the failure of socialism in early 20th century New York, harassed military recruiters during her tenure at Haw-Vard, and has spoken openly about limiting Free Speech. I'd be hard pressed to say any of those actions or views fall in line with the values of the Republican Party. Yet, these five PROGRESSIVEVIK "Republicans" voted for her confirmation anyway. Why ? Why did they go along with the rest of the 2+2=5 Junta that controls the Senate ? Why ?!

I'm sure we'll get the usual mealy-mouthed politician answer like, "We have to be bipartisan, blah, blah, blah", but that doesn't cut it when we're on the edge of a socialist takeover of our country. Crap like this is the reason why the Republican Party has lost thousands upon thousands of supporters, myself included. The Republican Party talks a great game, but when Progressivevik push comes to shove, they abandon their Conservative values and become their usual pantywaist selves. This was a golden opportunity to tell Chairman Obama where he could shove his Hopey-Changey nonsense, but like the Chicago Cubs, the Republican Party screwed the pooch yet again and blew it.

We The People are truly alone in this fight against socialist tyranny......

God help us all.

FUBAR

I have to warn you: I'm angrier than usual at the Big Mommy Regime in Washington DC and the 2+2=5 Progressivevik Junta that runs it.

I may bite.

I've just seen the "Summer Time Blues" report by Imperial Senators Tom Coburn and John McPain (No, I don't care if McPain wants to pretend he's a Conservative. I still wouldn't pee on him if he was on fire.) that outlines the waste that is Chairman Obama's "Stimulus" Scam. I have to tell you, never, ever, in my life have I seen such waste and total disregard for the American tax payer. Let's take a look at some of these atrocities, straight from the report itself.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1. Forest Service to Replace Windows in Visitor Center

Closed in 2007 (Amboy, WA) - $554,763

Despite having no plans to reopen a shuttered visitor center at Mount St. Helens in Washington state,

the U.S. Forest Service is spending more than $554,000 to replace its windows. One government official

likened it to .“keeping a vacant house in good repair,.” while another official noted that there is hope to

find some purpose for the building in the future, whether as a hotel, science camp or restaurant. Despite

those efforts, there are no current plans to use the empty space.

Spending $11.5 million in 1993, the Forest Service opened the Coldwater Ridge Visitor Center to provide

visitors to Mount St. Helens a .“sweeping view of the volcano.” through the center.’s soaring windows. In

2007, however, the Forest Service closed down the visitor center after just 14 years in operation. Former

USDA official, Mark Rey, said at the time regarding Mount St. Helens, .“we have more visitor center

capacity than the public can reasonably use."

Officials are hoping to maintain the facility so that another use can be found, such as a lodge or

educational facility. But the Forest Service has been criticized in the past for poor facilities

management, especially within the Mount St. Helens National Monument, and there is no sign that an

economically viable use for the center is close to being found.

2. “Dance Draw.” - Interactive Dance Software Development

(Charlotte, NC) - $762,372

The University of North Carolina at Charlotte received more than $750,000 in stimulus funds to help

develop a computerized choreography program that its creators believe could lead to a YouTube-like

.“Dance Tube.” online application. The grant says UNC-Charlotte will “define an evolving system that

assists in the design and production of interactive dance performances with real-time audience

interaction..”

A device is attached to each dancer, which will be recorded on video, and their movements will be

logged and analyzed. .“This will allow choreographers to explore interactive dance without always

having a full cast of dancers present,.” the grant states. One day, dance performances may enjoy the

popularity of YouTube hits like “double rainbow.” or .“dramatic-look prairie dog..” States the grant:

“The system will be extended into a Web-based .‘Dance Tube.’ application that will allow the public to

engage in interactive dance choreography..”

Administrative expenses are unusually high for this project, however. The project.’s lead researcher noted

that the university is taking a 44 percent cut to cover “overhead expenses."

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

6. Ants Talk. Taxpayers Listen (San Francisco, CA) - $1.9

million

The California Academy of Sciences is receiving nearly $2 million to

send researchers to the Southwest Indian Ocean Islands and east

Africa, to capture, photograph, and analyze thousands of exotic ants.

The photographs of the ants – over 3,000 species.’ worth, according to

the grant proposal – will be posted on AntWeb, a website devoted to

organizing and displaying pictures and information on the world.’s

thousands of ant species.

The project.’s goals are, to the lay person, both laudable and arcane: In

addition to .“foster[ing].…a large pool of ant taxonomists,.” it also strives

to document .“the vast majority of ant species known from [Africa]..”

.“[Ants] give us back the most data on the environment than any other

group. Their life cycle is shorter, they change very quickly,” says the

project.’s Principal Investigator in a promotional article on the

Academy.’s website. .“Everyone has run into ants . . . now we need to

listen to them..”

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We can go on and on.Why is it like this ? Who said "We need to spend $700,000 right away on dance software" ? Who authorized this crap ? Was he or she stoned out of their mind or were they suffering from a serious head injury ? How can this even be remotely justified ? When Joe Bite Me said that there was a 30% chance that the "Stimulus" plan would be FUBAR, he was drastically underestimating the stupidity of his fellow "lawmakers". It's 199.68% FUBAR. Yeah, Yeah, I'm a racist for bringing this up. Got it. You forgot to mention that I hate poor people as well.

Folks, we deserve better than this. No I'm not saying let's all run out and vote Republican. They haven't met a tax payer dollar that they couldn't waste, either. It's obvious that we need more than ever actual Conservatives running the show. I don't care which party they're from, Republican, Democrat, Libertarian, Tea Party, Green, whatever. We need people in Washington who are not going to treat the money we slaved away for like Monopoly money. We need politicians who aren't going to treat us like children at best and serfs at worst.

FUBAR is an old Army slang term from World War II that means "f-ed up beyond all recognition." I can't think of a better word to use when describing our federal "government", can you ?

God help us all.

Missed Some!

I would like to take this opportunity to condemn the brainchild of the 9/11 mosque project, Imam Feisel Abdul Rauf.

You sir, are a bigot. How dare you forget the fallen SS solidiers ? Let's build a shrine to them at Yad Vashem in Israel. How can you possibly forget the brave Imperial Japanese kamikaze pilots of World War II ? Let's build a shrine to them at Pearl Harbor. While we're at it, we need to break ground on a memorial for the brave Confederate war dead at Gettysburg and also an exquisite shrine to the Huns in Rome is certainly in order. For your obvious racism, I am reporting you to the NAACP.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Obviously, I'm joking, but this whole Cordoba Project fiasco is anything but a laughing matter. How can anyone with a straight face actually propose such a thing ? Why would anyone in their right mind allow the building of a mosque right next to Ground Zero ? Before the Progressiveviks start their tired "We Need To Be Tolerant" argument, I'll go on the record now: Most Muslims do not subscribe to Mohamed Atta's or Al Qaeda's views, especially here in the United States. Most of the Muslims I know are patriotic Americans simply trying to make it in this world. This is not a rant against Muslims or Islam.

This is a rant about creating a tourist site for Islamic psychopaths. Granted, most folks who would go to the Cordoba Center would simply go there to pray. That's fine. But what about those who would visit the center to gloat ? What about those who would make the Cordoba Center a pilgrimage site on the way to Martyrdom ? Do the memories of those who died during the 9/11 mean anything to Michael Bloomberg or the rest of the "We Need To Be Tolerant" crowd ? Shouldn't those memories be protected ?

The World Trade Center is not just hallowed ground in New York, it's hallowed ground for America. New York was not attacked, America was. That being said, our federal government should step in (You have no idea how much writing this sentence pains me.) and declare the site of the World Trade Center and the surrounding area a national park, using eminent domain if they have to. This way nothing will be built in the area. Yes, this goes against my Libertarian ideals, which I hold near and dear. However, I hold being an American a hell of a lot nearer and dearer. Of course the 2+2=5 Progressivevik Junta that passes itself off as Congress will do nothing of the sort since there are no spotted field crickets to protect. So with a heavy heart, and for the millionth time this week, I say--

God help us all.
