Julian Assange and his Wikileaks web site have wormed their way back into the news.
Really, what's the, in the immortal words of Vice President Joe Bite Me, the "big f-ing deal" ?
Let's face it, nothing Assange has released is of any real value. Aside from revealing the names of confidential informants the CIA and military used to hunt down terrorists, what harm was done ? All Wikileaks proved is that the old adage is true: War is Hell. The second round of "stunning" revelations is that some in the State Department think that some world leaders, like Mahmoud Ahmedinejad, are certifiably insane. Not exactly coming down from the mountain with two stone tablets, is it ?
Julian Assange and his chameleon-like hair are not news. The fact that the Big Mommy Regime is this incompetent is most definitely news.
Assange is not some James Bond type. He doesn't skulk in the shadows with microfilm and a suicide tablet hidden in his mouth. He's just a computer nerd, and yet, he confounds the CIA and the Big Mommy Regime, making them look like dolts, time after time. What's to stop a foreign secret service from doing the same ? Does this mean a foreign agent could reveal the launch codes for nuclear weapons ? Does this mean al-Qaeda hackers can reveal US troop movements in Afghanistan before they happen ? This is the real danger, folks. Our country's secrets are no longer safe.
Of course, the blame for all of this falls squarely on Chairman Obama's puny shoulders. He doesn't have the world's respect. If you'll note, this crap would have never been attempted on George W. Bush's watch, because he was feared. No, I don't think the US should be a bully, but I do think the US should hit back twenty times harder when struck first. I may not be a fan of Bush, but at least he got that part of being President right. With Chairman Obama's "Citizen of the World" approach, that's hard to do. It also doesn't help that our Dear Leader isn't qualified to run a 7-11, let alone the most powerful nation on earth, but that's been beaten into ground, hasn't it ?
A Congressional overview of the CIA's security procedures and operations are in order here, and it's time to let Darrell Issa do his thing. We, as Americans, need to know why our intelligence community is failing to function, from 9/11 to Army doing nothing about Nidal Hassan to Wikileaks. We need to know why Osama bin Laden hasn't been caught after nine years. We need to know why Anwar al Awlaki hasn't been caught and tried for treason. We need to know how a computer nerd like Julian Assange keeps making America look stupid repeatedly. And yes, we need to know if there are complicit government officials that have some stake in the downfall of the United States. (I'm not naming names. Unlike the 2+2=5'ers at Media Matters, I don't slander people. I only name names when I am sure they're guilty as hell.)
The real danger is around the corner, and to that I say--
God help us all.

Nineteen Eighty-Four In 2010
For the last two years, I have been warning anyone who would listen that we are on the verge of having an Ingsoc-like federal government. For the last two years, I've been told to up my meds and go back to therapy by everyone else. There are even some Righties who think I've gone batshit crazy. The last two years have been rather lonely. Even the Midterm Massacre brought me no joy, because in my heart of hearts, I know that the Massacre is only delaying the inevitable.
Our county is in deep, deep trouble.
We have a federal government that wants to decide what we're allowed to eat with the upcoming S.510, Food Safety Modernization Act. (Thanks alot, Little Dickie Durbin!) We have a federal government that pretends like the Fourth Amendment no longer matters and has decided to grope small children and make breast cancer survivors remove their prosthetic breasts all in the name of "national security". We have a federal government that wants to make you buy health insurance or risk a fine or prison time. We have a federal government that wants to scramble your cell phone while you're in YOUR car. Imperial Senator Jay Rockefeller (S-WV) wants political commentary taken off TV, and last, but certainly not least when listing the dangers to our Republic, we have dozens of UNELECTED czars running around making policy and answering to no one.
Our government is turning Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness into an Orwellian parody. Quite frankly, if this keeps up, there will be a very ugly breaking point.
Don't get me wrong and let me stop the dorks at Media Matters dead in their tracks. I'm not promoting violence. The Tea Party is not promoting violence. Neither is Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh, or Sean Hannity. However, there is a breaking point. I don't know what that breaking point is, but there is certainly a breaking point. Maybe it will be an irate father who watched an over-zealous TSA agent give his 10-year old daughter an enhanced pat down. Perhaps it will be someone who is being hauled off to jail for refusing to pay the Obamacare fine. Maybe, just maybe, it will be an enraged Greek who can't have feta cheese for his gyro. (Yes, when Dickie Durbin's monster becomes law, raw milk which is used to make feta cheese, will be against the law.) When that breaking point is reached, it won't be pretty.
When that moment finally comes (and I honest to God hope it never does) the big, stupid animal that is our federal government will do what it does best besides expand: oppress. Is that so far fetched ? Remember Ruby Ridge ? Waco ? Remember when Chairman Obama said this ? :
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"We cannot continue to rely on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives we've set. We've got to have a civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded."

Now Is The Time To Panic
The favorite past time of the traitorous, Progressivevik left is to shower Conservatives with insult after insult. Believe in God ? You're a Bible thumper. Not exactly enthralled with Chairman Obama and his Hopey-Changey crap ? You're a racist. Not a fan of gay marriage ? You're a homophobe or a "breeder". Dare to question Al Snore's false religion of Climate Change ? You're a "denier". If these people put as much effort into finding a job as they do insulting the productive members of society, perhaps America wouldn't be rapidly sliding into the Third World.
99% of these little jabs just roll off of my back. After all, most Progressiveviks have an IQ of 5. However, there's one thing they can and do say to aggravate me.
Being called a conspiracy theorist really pi$$es me off, especially when the evidence damn near slaps you in the face.
Let's get one thing straight: I'm not talking about little green men at Area 51, Truther nonsense, or Birth Certificate-Gate. I'm talking about conspiracies that aren't exactly theories. Like....Oh, I don't know....the fascist take over of the United States.
Here we go again. Here comes the black helicopter to take him to a FEMA camp. Blah, blah, blah. Uh..dude ? Hit it or skip it. FFFFT! Aaaaaah.
Where-oh-where am I getting this, you ask ? Glenn Beck ? Some bizarre, low rent website ? Militia meetings ?
Naaah. All of that stuff is so 2009. I'm taking this straight from the horse's mouth. John Podesta, take it away!

"November 15, 2010
In the aftermath of this month’s midterm congressional elections, pundits and politicians across the ideological
spectrum are focusing on how difficult it will be for President Barack Obama to advance his policy
priorities through Congress. Predictions of stalemate abound. And some debate whether the administration
should tack to the left or to the center and compromise with or confront the new House leadership.
As a former White House chief of staff, I believe those to be the wrong preoccupations. President
Obama’s ability to govern the country as chief executive presents an opportunity to demonstrate strength,
resolve, and a capacity to get things done on a host of pressing challenges of importance to the public and
our economy. Progress, not positioning, is what the public wants and deserves.
The U.S. Constitution and the laws of our nation grant the president significant authority to make and
implement policy. These authorities can be used to ensure positive progress on many of the key issues
facing the country through:
• Executive orders
• Rulemaking
• Agency management
• Convening and creating public-private partnerships
• Commanding the armed forces
• Diplomacy
The ability of President Obama to accomplish important change through these powers should not be
underestimated. President Bush, for example, faced a divided Congress throughout most of his term in
office, yet few can doubt his ability to craft a unique and deeply conservative agenda using every aspect
of the policymaking apparatus at his disposal. And, after his party lost control of Congress in 1994,
President Clinton used executive authority and convening power to make significant progressive change.
For instance, he protected more great spaces in the lower 48 states than any president since Theodore
Roosevelt, established for the first time significant protections for Americans’ medical privacy, and urged
the creation of the Welfare-to-Work Partnership that enlisted the help of 20,000 businesses in moving
more than 1 million welfare recipients into the workforce.
The upshot: Congressional gridlock does not mean the federal government stands still. This administration
has a similar opportunity to use available executive authorities while also working with Congress where
possible. At the Center for American Progress, we look forward to our nation continuing to make progress.
John Podesta
President and CEO"
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Yes, John Podesta is talking about having Chairman Obama skirt the Constitution and do as he pleases. If that isn't creepy enough for you, perhaps this will give you some much deserved goosebumps: the Center for American Progress is another one of Nazi collaborator George Soros' tentacles. Now don't get me wrong, Presidents have the right to use executive orders, but what Podesta, in his report, "The Power of the President" recommends is Chairman Obama making laws without Congress. For example:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"EPA should spur the retirement of coal-fired power plants and their replacement
with natural gas by requiring that coal ash is treated as a hazardous waste
for disposal and by significantly reducing allowable levels of sulfur dioxide and
mercury pollution. EPA’s final rule on coal ash is due in 2011."
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I'm sorry. Excuse me ? Are we still in America ?
Folks, if you think that Chairman Obama is simply going to become a wallflower, you've got another thing coming. Obama will use executive order after executive order to do as he pleases, or more accurately, what the radical left tells him to do. We've all wondered out loud why he needs a Blackberry....Now we know, don't we ?
Emperor Soros likes to keep in touch with his minions.
God help us all.
(By the way, there's no need to take my word on this, check out the link on the bottom of the page.)

It's A Beautiful Thing....
"It's a beautiful thing, the destruction of words."-- Inner Party Member Syme, From George Orwell's Nineteen Eighty-Four
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This may shock a few regular readers of this column, but I whole heartedly agree with Syme. Some words aren't fit to be used anymore and they should be destroyed. Don't worry, True Believer. I'm not going to go all politicalcorrectthink on you. You and I will still be able to use the words I am about to destroy whenever we like. Only a very, very small group of people shouldn't use these words that I am about to toss in the Memory Hole.
The words I am about to destroy are compromise and bipartisan. The select group that cannot use these new unwords are the newly elected Republican Congressmen, Imperial Senators, governors, and state legislators. Like Ingsoc, I'm betting that if the words don't exist, the concepts that the words represent will die. Yes, it's as harsh as it sounds, but desperate times often call for desperate measures.
I realize there are some out there who will consider the last two paragraphs as some of the most ignorant, obstructionist, partisan things they have ever read. I also realize there will be some who will say that both parties have to work together in order to pull America out of the "ditch" that Chairman Obama keeps blithering about. To those people, I say this: Grow a set and then dip 'em in some molten brass.
First of all, one must understand what the Midterm Massacre was all about in the first place. It was an active rejection of Chairman Obama and the Progressivevik ideology. Call me crazy and off my meds, but America is not nor ever will be a place that will sit back and allow government to run the show. We're hard-wired as a people to mistrust big government and the horrors that go hand in hand with it. The reason why we don't trust big government is because we've seen it fail time after time, not only in this county, but throughout the world. Regardless of what Bill Maher and the rest of the Professional Left says, Americans are not stupid. We The People saw the inherent fascism in TARP, the Obamacareless scam, Cap and Trade, and all of the rest of the Progressivevik schemes and plots that were thrown our way in the last two years. We didn't like it, and hence the Midterm Massacre.
Another thing to consider is America's love of political gridlock. I know this may be an odd thing to say, given the challenges we face today as a nation. However, a gridlocked government can't grow. A gridlocked government can't create more useless, soulless bureaucracy. A gridlocked government is naturally Conservative since spending one solitary dime takes hours upon hours of debate. Most importantly, a gridlocked government no longer has the power to oppress. For proof of this little theory of mine, look at 1980-2000. The United States had unparalleled economic expansion. Why ? There was a divided government every step of the way. Ronald Reagan had to deal with a Democrat Congress, as did Bush the First. The Horny Hick Bill Clinton had to deal with Newt Gingrich and his Consrevative crew. While Washington was busy fighting itself, the rest of us were able to ignore the Big Mommy Regime and live our lives in relative peace. A Conservative dream, indeed.
Ahhhh....smell that ? I've just tossed compromise and bipartisan into the nearest Memory Hole. Watching those words burn was truly a beautiful thing. Hey, Newbies! I have no problem dropping the dime on you to Thinkpol if I catch you using the new unwords !

Let's Play A Game!
While we're waiting for the 2012 Election Demolition Derby to begin, I thought we'd play a game to pass the time. The rules are simple: If you guess correctly what website the following quotes come from, you win! If you guess wrong, you'll be forced to watch Keith Olbermann give Joyless Behar a sponge bath. Ready ? Tough crap! We're playing anyway! And awaaaaaaaaay we go!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"AN HONEST ECONOMY
We must put an end to both economic freeloading and economic exploitation in America. There must be no place for parasites who draw their sustenance from society without giving anything in return. Those who thrive on usury, speculation, money-manipulation, and monopoly form a special class today whose primary interest is the maintenance of the system which allows their form of parasitism to flourish in the first place. We must have an economy based on the long-term interests of the man who works for a living, not the chronic loafer or the man who lives by renting out his capital. "
"A HEALTHY ENVIRONMENT
We must make it an imperative duty of our government to protect the gifts which Nature has bestowed on America and to insure the maintenance of a clean, healthy, wholesome environment for our people."
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Did the following quotes come from:
A) The HuffingtonandPuffington Post
B) Talking Point Memo
C) The Daily Kos
D) The American Nazi Party
All right, let's cue up the Jeopardy song. (Hey look, I have a real job in the real world. If I wasn't working a zillion hours a day to pay for some loafer's mortgage, health care, or God knows what else, I'd be a lot more handy with a computer and I would have figured out a way to actually insert the Jeopardy song here. Thank you very freaking much, Chairman Freaking Obama.)
The correct answer is D. Don't take my word for it. Feel free to click this link:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ok, if you got it wrong, don't worry. I won't make you watch Keith Olbermann give Joyless Behar a sponge bath. The Constitution does forbid Cruel and Unusual Punishment, after all.
However, it's sure creepy how the above quotes could fit into a quote from the above 2+2=5 Progressivevik Junta websites I've listed above, isn't it ?
See, the reason why the above quotes would fit is because Progressivism is really fascism. I'm not saying this to suck up to Glenn Beck, it's the bare knuckles truth. Think about it: With Progressivism, there is never a free choice in anything. Social(ist) Security ? Mandatory. Medicare ? Mandatory. Obamacare(less) ? Mandatory. Cap and Trade ? When it finally gets through, that will be mandatory. Go ahead and ask Wesley Snipes how voluntary personal income taxes are. (They don't call it the "Progressive Income Tax" for nothing, you know!)
Not one thing the Progressivevik Movement has proposed or inflicted upon America is ever voluntary. It's like they're paid a dollar every time they use the words "must" and "shall". If that's not the subverting of the individual for the state that's the hallmark of fascism, then I don't know what is.
The point is this, folks: Yes, We The People won the Midterm Massacre. We came, we saw, and kicked some serious tail. Leftist after leftist was defeated, whether they were in Congress, governors, or in state legislatures. We should be proud of ourselves, but it can't stop there. We have to keep fighting, whether it's debunking Media Matters and exposing their sugar daddy George Soros, whether it's resisting pictures of corpses being put on cigarette packs, or Happy Meals being banned in San Francisco, we have to keep fighting. When any sort of freedom is lost, it's lost for good. I don't know about you, but I don't need anyone else to do my thinking. I am perfectly capable of making my own decisions, as are you, Dear Reader.
Fascism, like a Constitutional Republic, requires the consent of the governed.
God help us all if we forget that little tidbit.

Business As Usual: The Dirtbags -R At It Again!
The confetti from last Tuesday hasn't even been swept up yet, but the scheming and posturing has begun.
According to the Daily Caller and Foxnews.com, Imperial Senator-elect Joe Manchin is being courted for a party-switch by the Republicans. Among the bribes are a seat on the Energy and National Resources committee and, get this, $1 billion in seed money for a coal to oil project. (Apparently, the Republican party thinks centralized planning of the economy is OK, as long as all involved has an -R at the end of their name. 2+2=5, eh ?)
Are you f---ing kidding me ? Is the Republican leadership this stupid ?
The whole point of the Midterm Massacre was America was sick and tired of crap like this. We're sick and tired of bribes for votes, party switches, and the like. We wanted and still want honest governance. We certainly didn't like the Democrat party's back room crooked deals, and we won't tolerate Republican back room deals, either. It doesn't matter whether there's an -R or -D after someone's name, corruption is still corruption.
Mitch McConnell and his establisment cronies better warm up to this idea and fast: We The People are NOT in love with the Republican Party. Quite frankly, the Republican party just happens to be the lesser of two evils and nothing more. If McConnell wanted more Republicans in the Imperial Senate, maybe, and I could be spitballing here, he could have given Christine O'Donnell a hand in Delaware, made more of an effort to help Sharron Angle in Nevada, or Joe Miller in Alaska. Mitch, that's what elections are for, and that's what Minority Leaders do. I'm quite certain I read that somewhere.
If the Republican party is going to retain the mandate it now has, it has to realize that the Bush Error is over and it has to return to its Conservative roots. America needs more people like Jim DeMint and Tom Coburn in the Imperial Senate. People like Lindsey Grahamnesty, John McPain, Olympia Snowejob, and Mitch McConnell need to go. It's In-Your-Face-Bite-Me-You-Lib-Commies Conservatism is what America craves, and McConnell has already stumbled out of the gate.
Yup. It's business as usual. The dirtbags -R at it again.
God help us all.

I Smell A Rat.....
This just in: According to the blaze.com, Keith Olbermann will be reinstated and back on the air spewing his hatred on Tuesday.
Inner Party Member Phil Griffin, the Reichsfuhrer of PMSNBC, called Olbermann's punishment of a long, sleepy weekend "appropriate". Apparently, Olbermann donating to political candidates while criticizing others for doing the same thing is perfectly ok. Hypocrisy, thy name is PMSNBC....Or......
THE WHOLE THING WAS A SET UP! I SMELL A RAT!
And you know what, you should too.
As I previously reported, Keith Olbermann's ratings were slightly better than that of most infomercials. In the second quarter of 2010, Olbermann did horrible in the 25-54 demographic, averaging only 263,000 viewers per night. Professional Women's Curling does better. Never mind catching O'Reilly or Beck, Olbermann was falling behind his peers at PMSNBC. Even the dry and now admitted socialist Lawerence O'Donnell was nipping at his heels.
So, something had to be done. It's sort of like when a sitcom gets dry and adds some useless character or bizarre plot twist. (This is called "jumping the shark", named after a Happy Days episode that showed Fonzie jumping over an obviously fake shark while waterskiing in his leather jacket.) Keith Olbermann's "indefinite suspension" was just that : PMSNBC jumping the shark. Phil Griffin had to make Olbermann "cool" and "edgy" once again. Olbermann's cheerleading for the government was the opposite of that, I mean, really, how cool is it really cheer on government programs that aren't even popular in the first place ? Rebellion against "empty corporate suits in management who want to stop the speaking truth to power" is "cool" and "edgy". Another way to look at it: PMSNBC wanted its own Juan Williams. Why should FOX corner the market in silenced journalists ?
Well, I'll give them credit, it worked. The socialists at the Progressive Change Campaign Committee supposedly garnered 250,000 signatures to have the bitter hatemonger reinstated. Useful Idiots, indeed.
I smell a rat....don't you ?

Olbermann: Gone At Last!
"I'm not going to sit here and tell you who to vote for. Odds are, if you're reading this column, you're in one of two camps. The first camp is Chairman Obama is wrong every day of the week and twice on Sunday. (Needless to say, this is the camp I call home.) Thus, my telling you who to vote for would be an obvious example of preaching to the choir. The second camp would be would be the 2+2=5 Progressivevik junta camp that wants to send people like me to a FEMA camp. Attempting to reason with you would be like attempting to explain journalism to Keith Olbermann, so I won't even bother, since it would be an exercise in futility.
I'm not going to tell you who to vote for, but I'm damn well going to tell you how to vote.
Use your head for more than a hat rack." --Alan Levy, lead columnist of Absolutely Nobama on 11/02/10
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Boy, if Keith Olbermann had torn a page out of my playbook, perhaps he wouldn't be joining the nation's 9.5% unemployed.
Next to the slaughter that was the Midterm elections, the "indefinite suspension" of Keith Olbermann by PMSNBC was this week's biggest news story. Olbermann was suspended for giving campaign donations to Democrat party candidates during the '10 campaign, including Raul Grijalva (Socialist-AZ), who appeared on Olbermann's show. This was in violation of PMSNBC policy that forbids partisan donations without management approval.
However, believing that this was the only reason Olbermann had the fork put in him is like believing 2+2=5.
Keith Olbermann was canned because his ratings have fallen in the toilet. In the 2nd quarter of 2010 Olbermann only averaged 263,000 viewers in the famed 25-54 demographic. That would be far less than Glenn Beck drew to his rally and only slighty more than Jon Stewart's Million Moron March. Even Lawrence O'Donnell, the obscure socialist, was giving Olbermann a run for his money in the ratings. Olbermann was fighting for professional life at the time of his axing.
Ah...but why were his ratings crumbling ?
Keith Olbermann went from a political commentator to a political hack. He never, ever booked opposing views unlike Sean Hannity or Bill O'Reilly. Every one of Olbermann's guests were in lock step with his Progressivevik views, which makes for boring TV. No one wants to watch some ideologue rant and rave while the host nods in agreement like a bobblehead, as Olbermann had often done. Not only that, Olbermann became an angry and nasty bobblehead, claiming the Tea Party was on its way to hell for being selfish, calling Michelle Malkin a bag of meat, and many other malicious comments. I know that sounds a little hypocritical coming from yours truly, especially when you consider the title of this column, but the difference is, I don't insult people for the sake of insulting them. Every insult I have thrown at others was to make a point. Have I been rough ? Damn right. Did I hit below the belt like Olbermann ? No.
Keith, if you're willing to learn, I'm willing to teach.

A November To Remember, Indeed.
I deliberately took my time to write this column. I didn't want it to be lost in the chorus of "We Won, The Democrat Party Sucks".
The janitor is sweeping up the confetti. The few stragglers are calling cabs for rides home. The victory keg is empty.
Now, it's time to talk sense.
Yes, November 2, 2010 will go down as one of the Right's greatest victories. There's no denying that. The Right not only took the Shack of Representatives, boat loads of governorships and state legislatorships. It made the '94 Midterms look sick in comparison. The Tea Party activists who made this happen deserve all the credit in the world.
However....now is not the time to get cocky, True Believer.
We can't take this victory for granted. We can't take 2008 and toss it into the nearest Memory Hole. In 2008, the lamestream media wrote the obituary for the Conservative Movement. Yet, we bounced back. Who's to say that the villianous left can't do the same ? They have the infrastructure to do so. The left owns Hollywood, the lamestream media, and they still have a dangerous grassroots movement thanks to socialist sugar daddy George Soros. We can't take a break a now. The stakes are higher than ever.
To keep up the momentum, the Right must do the following:
•Watch the newbies very carefully. Washington is a very dangerous place, and quite frankly, there's something in the water up there. The moment any of them says the words "bipartisan" or "compromise", let's mail them a tea bag with a little note attached that reads "Remember who brought you to the dance."
•Get out to the colleges and snatch the youth vote away from Chairman Obama and his comrades. Pound it into the thick skulls of college kids that if something isn't done, there won't be any jobs for them when they graduate. If 2010 proved anything, it proved that it's all fun and games until someone gets hit in wallet. Kids don't go to college to become leftists, they go there so they don't spend the rest of their lives as telemarketers or flipping burgers.
•Finish the revolution and get rid of the rest of the Republican establishment, the architects of the 2008 disaster. The Lindsey Grahamnestys, the Olympia Snowejobs, and the like have to go. This may sound weird, but I'd rather have a guy like Joe Manchin, a Conservative Democrat, in the Imperial Senate than someone like Grahamnesty.
A complete victory is around the corner, folks. It's halftime, not the two minute warning. The score is 7-7. If we fumble or throw a pick....
God help us all.

Your Handy Dandy 2010 Voting Guide
From the Democratic Socialists of America website:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Q Aren't you a party that's in competition with the
Democratic Party for votes and support?
No, we are not a separate party. Like our friends and allies in the feminist, labor, civil rights, religious,
and community organizing movements, many of us have been active in the Democratic Party. We work with
those movements to strengthen the party’s left wing, represented by the Congressional Progressive Caucus.
The process and structure of American elections seriously hurts third party efforts. Winner-take-all
elections instead of proportional representation, rigorous party qualification requirements that vary from state
to state, a presidential instead of a parliamentary system, and the two-party monopoly on political power have
doomed third party efforts. We hope that at some point in the future, in coalition with our allies, an alternative
national party will be viable. For now, we will continue to support progressives who have a real chance at
winning elections, which usually means left-wing Democrats."

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
There you have it, folks. No chalk board. No crying. No rallies. No Tea Party. No Right Wing hysterics. There's the truth, with all its warts, pus-filled sores, and really bad breath.
Let me ask you, America, is this what you want ? People being lauded by the fringe left running your bank, your insurance company, your manufacturers, or possibly your life ?
I'm not going to sit here and tell you who to vote for. Odds are, if you're reading this column, you're in one of two camps. Look! More Marxism!
"When stubborn inequalities still persist -- in education and health, in income and wealth -- I think those founders [of the NAACP. You really didn't think Michelle Obama would talk about THE Founders, did you ?] would urge us to increase our intensity, and to increase our discipline and our focus and keep fighting for a better future for our children and our grandchildren."--Michelle Evita Obama at the NAACP Conference.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The above is an illustration of the divide between We The People and They The Progressiveviks. We The People talk about providing the opportunity to become whatever you set your mind to, to reach out and grab that brass ring. They The Progressiveviks whine and toss around words like "inequality", which is shorthand for "We're just a bunch of damn losers looking for a handout."
See, what Evita Obama and her cronies at the National Association for the Advancement of Corrupt Progressiveviks (Let's face it, the NAACP no longer has anything to do with advancing anything but the Progressivevik agenda.) will never, ever understand is the fact that redistributing wealth doesn't create equality. It creates weakness. It creates crime. Above all, the redistribution of wealth creates...inequality.
A quick scan of our inner cities, trailer parks, and barrios will show that I'm right. In those places, you see generation after generation of welfare recipients. You don't see the drive to succeed in those places. Why ? There's no need to have any sort of drive. After all, the Big Mommy regime in Washington DC will give you food stamps, health care, a place to live, and enough pocket money to buy crack or meth. All you have to do in return for this "genorosity" is keep pushing out offspring faster than rabbits and stay out of the rich, white, MSNBC- watching neighborhoods. It's as if the American Dream has gone to our inner cities, our trailer parks, and our barrios to die.
Another place you'll see that I'm right is in the flourishing, LEGAL immigrant communities that can be found in every state. For example, my wife gets her nails done at a shop that's owned by a Vietnamese couple that's the salt of the earth. My boss at my it-pays-my-bills-unitl-I-strike-it-rich-as-a-writer-gig was born in Cuba. My favorite corner store that has the cheapest smokeless tobacco and beer in town is owned by a Palestinian immigrant. (Needless to say, we have had many entertaining political discussions over the years.) It's breathtaking to see these folks in action. They're proof that America works.
The Midterm Elections are upon us...Food stamps and an endless cycle of hopelessness or actual opportunity to do anything you want with your life. That's your choice America.
God help us all. It's come to this.
