The Racist Cat Is Out Of The Bag

In the soon to be released book Game Change written by Mark Halperin and John Heilman, our less than illustrious Imperial Senate Majority Leader Harry "I Surrender" Reid was quoted as having said that Barack Obama did not have a "[black] dialect unless he wanted to have one" and that Obama was popular because he's "light skinned."

Let me be the first on the right to say it: Time to resign, Harry.

In case you're suffering from post concussion syndrome, let me remind you: I am no fan of Obama or his Marxist philosphies. Frankly, I think he's the worst President we've had and that includes a certain peanut farming antisemite from Georgia, but even I am completely and totally outraged by this blatantly racist remark from Reid. This is a clear example of the not-so hidden racism that lurks in the heart of the Democratic party.

A quick history lesson is in order here. Who started the genocide against the Native Americans ? A Democrat you may have heard of named Andrew Jackson. Who stood in the way of the abolition of slavery ? You guessed right, the Democrats. Who threw Americans of Japanese descent into internment camps ? Could it be the...Democrats ? Who fought tooth and nail against ending segregation in the South ? I know! I know! It was the Democrats! See a trend here ?

The bottom line is jerks like Harry Reid use their uber leftist views to hide their obviously racist views. A good example of this is school vouchers. Isn't it swell how people like Hillary Clinton sent her kid to private school but did her best to keep vouchers out of the hands of the common (let's face it, poor black) folks who simply wanted a better education for their kid ? Hypocrites like Clinton don't have to come right out and say it--they want to keep blacks where they are and out of their schools. Same thing can be said about every other initiative the socialist left has come up with. Welfare, affirmative action, Section 8 housing, etc., all of these programs were designed to keep minorities, mainly blacks, in their place.

And yet, us Conservatives are the racists ?

To be real a Conservative, you have to believe in the oneness of America. All of us "extremists" don't see color, we see fellow Americans. No, we don't believe in handouts to right some un-rightable wrong, we believe in giving every American his God given right to an opportunity to be the very best person he can be. What he does with that opportunity is his own business. No one is going to hold anyone else's hand or make excuses for those who throw away that precious opportunity. If someone wants to be a pot smoking telemarketer, so be it. If someone wants to create his own multi media internet empire and be a world famous columnist, so be it. Our firm belief in God given opportunity is what seperates Conservatives from the racist liberals who'd rather give pocket money to minorities to keep them off their manicured lawns. Given that undeniable logic, who do you think is really fighting for the little guy ?

I'll give you a hint: It isn't jerks like Harry Reid, that's for damn sure.
