To Burn Or Not To Burn, That Is The Question

According to the Associated Depressed, Florida pastor Terry Jones has decided not to torch Korans to protest radical Islam on 9/11.

Ok...that's fine. This story is far from over.

The real story is the reaction to this fiasco by the Big Mommy Regime in Washington DC and its accomplices in the lamestream media.

Before we begin, I thought the whole idea of burning any religious texts completely un-American. This is not 1933 Germany. We, as Americans, do not burn books, even if we don't agree with them. It is a barbaric practice, and Terry Jones should be ashamed of himself for even bringing up the idea. Yes, it puts our troopes in even more danger, if that's possible. No self-respecting Conservative should think otherwise.

On the other hand, when was the last time the federal government ever stood up for Christianity or Judaism ? Why hasn't Chairman Obama asked Feisal Abdul Rauf to "listen to his better angels" and move his victory mosque away from Ground Zero ? Why is putting a Crucifix in a jar of urine or covering a staute of the Virgin Mary with elephant poop considered art by the federal government ? Why is the FBI intimidating Terry Jones acceptable ? Was Terry Jones threatened with being charged with a hate crime ? Are we afraid of radical Islam as a nation ? Are we so afraid of how radical Islamists will react that we allow them to set the agenda ? Inquiring minds want to know and deserve to know.

I have news for you, kids. This whole "To Burn or Not to Burn" mess has shown us how damaged our beloved Republic truly is. The lamestream media has gone AWOL on the questions I've listed above, so as usual, they're completely useless. The federal government has proven that it can be intimidated by militant Islam, so once again, the Big Mommy Regime is useless. We are in trouble as a nation and this hubballoo has proven it.

God help us all.
