If you ever doubt that that lamestream media and The HuffingtonandPuffington Post aren't in Chairman Obama's back pocket, check out this little snippet from one of their "columnists", Mediaite.com founder Dan Abrams. It's titled:
Elena Kagan: Way Too Boring For Scandal Starved Media
In this "column", Abrams writes:
"After all, her comments and writings on the really important issues like the First Amendment, Executive Power and the Commerce Clause are, well…kinda nuanced. She may want cameras in the Supreme Court ? Whatever. She opposed the military’s Don’t Ask Don’t Tell policy and consequently tried to keep recruiters off campus ? A good start — but far more controversial just a few years ago. Come on, they don’t quite need the [word referring to groin] hair on a Coke can, but the media is looking for at least a “Wise Latina” meme to obsess over for a few weeks."
Um...call me crazy and off my meds, but how is trying to keep military recruiters off of a college campus in the middle of a war not controversial ? If she lived during the Wilsonian Error, she would have been thrown in jail for treason. (As much as it pains me to say it, I would be forced to agree.) How on God's green and not to mention scientifically proven cooling earth is that not a scandal ? How can anyone possibly think that this warmed over Commie has the ethics to sit on the highest court in the land ? Kagan claims it was because of the "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy of her old boss, Arkansas's Least Favorite Walking Hormone, Bill Clinton.
We all know the real reason why she treated military recruiters like lepers and kept them out of the law library at Haw-vard. Elena Kagan is another leftist idealogue who hates America. "Don't Ask Don't Tell" was a convenient excuse to act like a traitor. It doesn't get any more obvious when you look at the freak show Chairman Obama has appointed during his Reign of Leftist Incompetent Terror. There was the dearly departed Van Jones. There's the Mao twins Anita Dunn and Ron Bloom. There's the pervert and Harry Hay worshipping Kevin Jennings. There's Hugo Chavez's number one fan and BFF Mark Lloyd. There's the American Himmler John Holdren, and God knows who else in the shadows. To be on Chairman Obama's radar, you have had to have burned an American flag at least once or committed some sort of act of treason.
However warped you may find the last paragraph, it's Chairman Obama's right to appoint whomever he wants to the Supreme Court. (And face the consequences of even more alienated voters.) Obviously, he's going to appoint people with his leftist views, just like Sarah Palin would appoint a Righty to the court, and John McPain would appoint a Crypto-Commie. That's fine. To the victors go the spoils, after all. The fact that Elena Kagan is yet another boring leftist who hasn't had an original thought since the heady days of the Cloward/Piven strategy is not news.
What is news is the fact that the HuffingtonandPuffington Post and other lamestream media outlets like it are downplaying what Kagan did to the recruiters by pretending what she did was either a noble, principled stand or no "big f-ing deal" as Schmoe Biden would say. Once again, the lamestream media is acting like the Ministry of Truth by editing history. That's a big problem. An even bigger problem is the fact that the lamestream media is trying to cover for Chairman Obama once again by defusing the upcoming Kagan Bomb. The last time I checked, the job of the press was to question authority, not suck up to it and beg for a bailout.
