Can't They At Least Try ?

“The thing is, is that, and I get frustrated, and I was… there was part of me that was hoping this was not going to be anybody with ties to any kind of Islamic country, because there are a lot of people who want to use terrorist intent to justify writing off people who believe in a certain way or come from certain countries or whose skin color is a certain way. I mean, they’re, they use it as justification for really outdated bigotry. And so there was part of me that was really hoping this would not be the case, that… And again, he’s accused, he’s arrested, you know, I don’t want to convict him before it’s time to do so. He’s the guy authorities say is involved. But that being said, we know, even in recent history, you have the Hutaree militia from Michigan, who had planned to, let’s face it, create terror. That’s what they were planning to do. And they were doing so from far different backgrounds than what this guy is coming from. So the threat is not just coming from people that decide that America is the place to be and come here and want to become citizens. And obviously this guy did."

-- Contessa Brewer, MSNBC, displaying her disappointment that Faisal Shahzad, the bumbling New York City car bomber, was not a "Right Wing Extremist" Tea Party member

“See – we have a problem.... How do we know when someone like Hasan is going to make his move and do we know he’s an Islamist until he’s made his move? He makes a phone call or whatever, according to Reuters right now. Apparently he tried to contact al Qaeda. Is that the point at which you say, ‘This guy is dangerous?’ That’s not a crime to call up al Qaeda, is it?Is it? I mean, where do you stop the guy?”

--Chrissy Matthews, MSNBC, on the traitorous Nidal Hassan, who shot his fellow solidiers at Ft. Hood

"Hahahaha!"

Chrissy Mathews, MSNBC, on the extermination of the Israeli people by the Iranians

You know, at this point, I have a few simple questions about MSNBC: Can't they even try to be American ? Can't they just once take America's side on anything ? Do they smoke crack before they get on the air ?

(Oops. I forgot that's racist. I guess I'm off to the Ministry of Love for reeducation.)

I'm not one who questions anyone's patriotism, nor am I Woodrow Wilson looking to jail people for expressing their opinions, but c'mon! We have Americans barely old enough to shave sleeping in their boots and coming home in body bags! At least pretend to give a damn that your country is at war! What the hell is wrong at MSNBC ? Is there any adult supervision ? Or, as frightening as it may sound, is this the official company line ?

Now, hysterics and outrage aside, I'm not like the dorks at Media Matters. I understand there is a big difference between opinion and hard news. Chrissy Matthews' show is about opinion. Frau Brewer was giving her opinion on a radio show. That's fine. We're still a semi-free country, after all. But what does this say about the mindset of the lamestream media ? Chrissy and Frau Brewer are considered card carrying members of the maistream media whereas someone like Greta Van Susteren, who should have a display case full of Pulitzers, is considered "fringe". What's wrong with that picture ?

Don't worry True Believers, The Chairman Obama Cheerleading Squad will get theirs in the end. The American public is rejecting the politicalcorrectthink mindset of PMSNBC, the Communist News Network (CNN), The New York Slimes, and the like. They've grown tired of the marxist, blame America attitude that has seeped into the lamestream media. The American people are sick and tired of blowhards like the Human Rat Keith Olbermann who calls them selfish for not wanting to pay for their neighbor's health care. The American people The View. Oprah is retiring after sellhave become disenchanted with the menopausal hags (minus Elizabeth Hasselbach, of course.) on ing the American people the snake oil known as Chairman Obama. Their coma-like ratings and declining readerships prove it. (Why else would there be talk about bailouts for the lamestream media ?)

However, until Frau Brewer and Chrissy join the 9.7% of the unemployed--

 God help us all.
