A Bummer On So Many Levels

Well, True Believers, we have another set back to deal with.

US District Judge Susan Bolton, who just happens to be a Clinton nominee, has kicked the Arizona immigration law in the groin by seriously hampering law enforcement's ability to enforce it. "Requiring Arizona law enforcement officials and agencies to determine the immigration status of every person who is arrested burdens lawfully-present aliens because their liberty will be restricted while their status checked," said Bolton as she legislated from the bench.

Yes, I said it. Bolton legislated from the bench.

No, I'm not being a sore loser. (As a Libertarian, I'm lukewarm to the law in the first place. Giving the government, whether it's federal, state, county, or local, any extra power makes me rather skittish. A quick perusal of history will show that extra powers granted to governments will eventually be used against the people the powers were enacted to "protect". See the Patriot Act for further details.) However, according to the Associated Depressed, Bolton went on to say that Arizona's immigration law would divert federal resources away from other priorities. No, this isn't Senator Bolton talking. No, this isn't Congressman Bolton or President Bolton talking, this is Judge Bolton talking. Now, I'm not a legal genius like Chairman Obama or Steadman Eric Holder, but I know political gibberjabber when I hear it. Why would a judge be talking about diverting resources ? Call me crazy and off my meds, but shouldn't Bolton have made her decision on the Constitutional merits of the federal government's case ?

Frankly, this sort of brazen legislation from the bench scares me a hell of lot more than the fence jumpers do. Assuming this decision isn't overturned, it means we have amnesty for illegal aliens without a vote in Congress. If the states can't enforce immigration laws and the federal government refuses to do it, you have amnesty. It's that simple. When you have laws being written without the legislative process you have a fascist dictatorship. I don't know about you, but I'd be hard pressed to call this "Change We Can Believe In."

God help us all.

Want Proof The Private Sector Is Better ?

In Newt Gingrich's must read To Save America, the Conservatus Maximus writes:

"The American credit card industry processes over $2 trillion in transactions every year, and there are 800 million credit cards accepted by millions of vendors to buy countless products. Yet, fraud constitutes just one one-tenth of one percent of the credit card industry. Conservatively speaking, fraud in Medicare and Medicaid is 10 percent, making it 100 times worse."

Now, gee, why would that be ?

Well, that's easy. Anything the government can do, the private sector can do 100 times better. Why is that ? Profit. I know that's an unword to the 2+2=5 Progressivevik Junta that currently lurks in the halls of Congress these days, but I'm willing to risk a trip to the Ministry of Love to make a point. Profit is the greatest motivator known to mankind. The magical lure of profit gave us:

  • the cotton gin.
  • the light bulb.
  • the airplane.
  • the automobile.
  • television.
  • pinball machines.
  • personal computers.
  • the Atari 2600.
  • The Internet
What has our bloated pig of a federal government given us in the last 100 years ?

Nothing. Not a damn thing. The Big Mommy Regime is incapable of creating anything other than pointless regulation and zombie-like bureaucrats who need forms filled out in triplicate before they can have a bowel movement. Why is that ? The bureaucracy that has been put in place by Progressivevik Fuhrers like Woodrow The Horrible, Franklin Dictator Roosevelt, Lyndon Johnson, and Everyone's Least Favorite Anti Semitic Peanut Farmer Jimmy Carter has no motive to keep itself afloat. It has become a self sustaining apparatus unto itself.  Whenever the bureaucracy ran into trouble, it slithered to Congress who happily wrote it a check. When Congress ran out of other people's money, the Federal Reserve fired up its printing presses. As a result, government services became worse and worse, because no matter how SNAFU the bureaucracy had become, Uncle Sugar would always be there to bail them out, no matter what the cost was. After all, what President would want to be known as the killer of Medicare or Medicaid ? What Congresswoman would want it to be known that she voted to kill the Department of Education or the EPA ? (OK, take Michele Bachmann and Marsha Blackburn out of the last example.)

If you think the bureaucracy is as scary as waking up next a naked Joy Behar, wait until you see Obamacare(less) in action.Wait until you have your doctor damn near throw you out of his office so he can take the next patient as soon as possible to make up for the lost revenue that Obamacare(less) has taken from him. Wait until you get taxed to death if you have to buy a glucose monitor or test strips. Or better yet, wait until your doctor needs authorization from some bureaucrat to treat you, only to find out that the bureaucrat he needs to speak to is on his hourly fifteen minute break. Once you take the profit motive from any organized human activity you get mush, throw government into that mix, you get very expensive and unproductive mush.

God help us all.

Political Science 101

OK kids, it's time for political science 101. Oh, don't worry. I'm not some tenured sap from the NEA. There's no paper required and there's no final exam. You get an "A" for simply showing up. (In other words, it will be just like high school here in South Florida.)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Today's lesson: Left and Right.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I find it amazing how many of my fellow Conservatives actually use the word liberal as a code word for "evil Communists bent on world domination". That is simply not the case. Back in the 30's, when Franklin Dictator Roosevelt was in charge, folks like us (Conservatives) who fought FDR's fascism tooth and nail, were called liberals. This was because the primordial Conservative movement sought to liberate the masses from FDR's fascism. (Think of them as the first Tea Party.)

Of course, over the years, that changed. The Progressive movement sputtered in the United States as the folks got fed up with people like Franklin Dictator Roosevelt running their lives. Progressives realized that a make over was needed, so during the Great Disruption of the 1960's they started calling themselves "liberals". The folks who rightly despised Franklin Dictator Roosevelt, began calling themselves "Conservatives", as in conserving the freedom that the Constitution provided.

Of course, this had nothing to do with the Left and Right that had dominated European politics for years. Right and Left had completely different meanings in Europe. An extreme Rightist in Europe would be a fascist. An extreme Leftist in Europe would be a communist. (Truthfully speaking, there is no real difference between fascism and communism.) The size and scope of government were never debated in Europe. Europe has always had big governments, from the Roman Empire, to the monarchies of the Middle Ages, and right up until the advent of the social democracies that rule most European countries today.

While one can certainly make the arguement that Righties can't be called fascists, the same can't be said about calling Lefties communists in America. Your average Joe Six Pack Tea Party guy would have found life in Nazi Germany unbearable. Your below average Code Pink zealot, however, would be right at home in Stalin's USSR and would learn the ropes in Nazi Germany. That is because the American Progressivevik Left has its roots in the failed, tired ways of European politics. The Right in America is a uniquely American idea. The idea of small government goes back to the Founding Fathers and some documents you may have heard of called "The Declaration of Independence" and "The Constitution". (If you attended a public school, you might want to Google them. Public education shies away from controversial topics like freedom.)

Here's the point, folks. Let's stop using the word liberal as an insult. Let's start using the word Progressive as an insult instead.

God help us all.

Shirley Sherrod: Not Exactly Rosa Parks

A broken clock is right twice a day, as the old saying goes. Fox News' broken clock, Bill O'Reilly, finally got one right. Unlike the rest of the media, O'Reilly didn't let Shirley Sherrod, the world's most famous unemployed person, off the hook. In his 7/21/10 "Talking Points Memo" segment, O'Reilly took Sherrod to task for some of the things she said at her NAACP speech, something even Glenn Beck really didn't do. For example, Sherrod, the Left's new Horst Wessel, said this:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"So I figured if I'd take him to one of them, that his own kind [emphasis added] would take care of him."

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

O'Reilly then proceeded to jack the waist high fastball out of the park when he responded with this:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"One of his own ? Would that be another American, Ms. Sherrod ? If a white public servant referenced his own kind or one of his own when speaking about an African American, that white person would be fired on the spot."

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Bravo, Bill. However, you could have hit a grand slam if you had commented on this little snippet from Ms. Wessel...er, uh...Sherrod:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"That's when it was revealed to me that, y'all, it's about poor vs. those who have...."

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

There's your smoking gun. We have an official from the United States federal government talking about redistributing wealth. (yet again!) The last time I checked, and believe me I do, that sounds like it came right out of Karl Marx's playbook. The poor vs. those who have ? What kind of crap is that ? Remember, Sherrod was not a politician when she made this speech to the National Association for the Advancement of Communist Principles. She was there as a federal employee, which leads us to the next gem from Mr. O:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"...according to the Hatch Act, federal emloyees are forbidden to endorse political parties while on duty."

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So here's another question for Eric "Steadman" Holder's Department of Injustice: Why in the hell wasn't Sherrod charged with violating the Hatch Act ? Yeah, her public firing was sad, yadda, yadda, yadda, but let's face it: Shirley Sherrod broke the law! She should not be getting a new office and a new cushy job, she should be at Club Fed making new and interesting friends while wearing an orange jumpsuit. I realize that video evidence may not be Steadman's strong point, (see the non-existent Black Panther case for further detalis) but c'mon! How crimes against the Republic is the DOJ going to ignore ? Do they get a set of steak knives if they exceed a certain number ? Give me a damn break, already!

There will be some who think putting the racist tag on Shirley Sherrod is wrong since her little parable was about going from a bigot to a paragon of racial tolerance. Well, those of us with brains who sat through the whole 43 minute snooze fest disagree. Shirley Sherrod hasn't changed. She's still a bigot. Take a gander at this little snippet from her speech:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Some of the racism we thought was buried-- didn't it surface ? Now, we endured eight years of the Bushes, and we didn't do the stuff these Republicans are doing because you have a black president." [This speech was made during the rise of the Tea Party. Also, it would appear that Shirley Sherrod has never Code Pink in action.]

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Translation: All of you Archie Bunker-types need to shut up because the black man is in charge. (Feel free to use it in a song, Jay-Z!)

Obviously, this isn't as bad King Samir Shabazz wielding his now-famous nightstick, but it's still a racially divisive comment. It doesn't take the smarts of a Jonah Goldberg to realize that Sherrod was referring to whites who had the Audacity to question the Hope. If the Tea Party was an all black movement, one could safely assume that Sherrod would not have made that comment.

Here's the final questions that should have been asked, and even Fox News screwed the pooch on these: Why on God's green, and not to mention cooling, earth would a federal appointee even appear at an NAACP event ? Is that not a conflict of interest when you consider the fact that the NAACP is only interested in helping minorities ? Don't taxpayers of all races pay her salary ? Shouldn't she have appeared at an event of an organization that looks to help people of all races ? I know I'll never get satisfactory answers to any of those questions, but I do know this: If a Bush appointee appeared at an all white anything, Keith Olbermann would still be whining about it to his ten viewers today.

The bottom line is this, folks. Shirley Sherrod is not Rosa Parks. She's another leftist ideologue who has found a home in Obama Hood's Band of Merry Socialists. To that, I say:

God help us all.

The War On Whitey

Well, my friends, The War on Terror is over.

Instead, we now have the War on Whitey.

I know there will be some out there who will say my Glenn Beck tinfoil hat is too tight, it's impossible for minorities to be racist since they don't have the power to carry it out, blah, blah, blah, whites are terrified of being replaced in the power structure of the United States, blah, blah, blah. To idiots who say that, I point out the following facts:

  • Chairman Obama, our Failed Messiah, belonged to a church that was openly hostile to whites and Jews. The last time I was in a church, the pastor wasn't talking about how whites were committing genocide against the black community. If Jeremiah Wright, the pastor, was white and he accused blacks of committing genocide against whites, he'd be charged with a hate crime and would probably be sent to the Ministry of Love for reeducation.
  • Eric Holder, our Steadman look-alike Attorney General, once said America was a nation of  "cowards" when it came to race.
  • Chairman Obama called his own grandmother a "typical white person".
  • Chairman Obama, who obviously suffers from diarrhea of the mouth, called small town cops stupid for arresting one of his leftist friends who was acting like a maniac
  • Steadman Holder struck again when the Department of Injustice dropped the case against the New Black Panther Party despite having video evidence that they were going to beat the crap out of anyone who showed up at the Philly polling place wearing a John McCain t-shirt.
  • We certainly must not forget the appointment of Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor. After all, she is certainly wiser than ol' Whitey, being a wise Latina woman and all.
  • We have Michelle Evita Obama attending an NAACP event with full knowledge that Benjamin Jealous, the NAACP's head honcho, was going to attempt to incite a racial firestorm by calling the Tea Party racist.
  • Finally, we have the curious case of Shirley Sherrod, a bottom feeder at the USDA, who admitted that she didn't do all she could to help a white farmer keep his land. (My inner Libertarian is screaming at the top of his little lungs: Why is the federal government even involving itself in saving private farms ? That, my friends, is another rant for another time.)
So what's next ? Apartheid against whites ? White only drinking fountains ? Whitey, get to the back of the bus ?

Now, I'm not going to pretend this country doesn't have racial scars. I'm also not going to indulge in the fantasy that there aren't folks who don't like Chairman Obama because he's black. To do either would be an exercise in intellectual dishonesty, and the last time I checked, Ed Schultz has the intellectual dishonesty market cornered. Yes, America has had its ups and downs when it comes to race. However, when you compare how America solved its race "problems" as opposed to places like Nazi Germany and Zimbabwe, I'd have to say we have a lot to proud of. One only has to look at figures like Oprah Winfrey, Michael Jordan, Andy Garcia, and Bill Cosby for proof of that.

However, Chairman Obama and his socialist goons in the NAACP don't see it that way. To them, it's still 1968. They want minorities to be victims so they can indulge in their Marxist dreams of redistributing wealth. They don't care about Martin Luther King's Dream. All they care about is paying back Whitey. They're willing to undo all of the hard work of the Civil Rights Movement just so they have a chance to be this generation's Che Guevera, minus the mass murder part. It's a shame, really. Chairman Obama could have gone down in history as an example of how America really works. Instead, he'll be remembered as another angry Leftist race hustler on par with Louis Farrakhan and Al Not So Sharpton.

God help us all.

The Real NAACP That Will Keep It Real

In this column, I am proud to announce the formation of my new political action committe, The National Association for the Adavancement of Conservative Principles (NAACP).

Unlike the racist fraud that also uses this acronym, my NAACP will stand with interlocked arms of all races against the tyranny of the Progressives that have infested our government. When the ACLU uses its lies and calumny to have The Ten Commandments removed from a city hall, we will be there to put them back up. When the government uses its new and decidedly fascist "hate crime" law to intimidate members of the clergy (of any religion) to perform gay marriage cermonies, we will be there to lend our support. When returning veterans from Iraq and Afghanistan are harrangued by the idiots from Code Pink, we'll be there. In short, whenever Progressives try strike at the heart of liberty, we'll be there to stop them.

What's that you say ? There is already an organization that does all that stuff ?

Yes, folks, the gig is up. There is an organization that already does that stuff. It's called the Tea Party.

I don't know what drugs the Ben Jealous, the head of the NAACP (the racist variety, of course), does, but man, are they altering his sense of reality! Recently, Jealous and his communist allies have called on the Tea Party to condemn the racist elements of the organization. Now, I've been to many Tea Parties here in socialist South Florida. You know how many racists I found ? Zero. Zilch. I did see a bunch of patriots running around with American Flags. (Something curiously absent from SEIU and ACORN "protests" and shakedowns.) I did see a whole bunch of white folks, that's true, but they were either wearing Elect Allen West t-shirts (who, at last check, is black.) or waiving Marco Rubio signs. (Who just happens to be Hispanic.)

Now, I'll give Jealous his due. There are Obama signs with our Dear Leader sporting the Hitler 'stache at every Tea Party. I know that, because I've waived a few. It wasn't because Obama is black, it's because I think he's grabbed way, way, too much power. I don't oppose Obamacare(less) because Obama is the first black President, I oppose it because I don't want some faceless Health-ocrat deciding whether or not I live or die. It isn't white fear that fuels my opposition to the Stimulus plan, it's the assault to common sense that the plan represents. Of course, I have a better chance at finding Rachel Maddcow a date for Saturday night than I do convicing the Left that the Tea Party is not a bunch of Skoal spitting rednecks. Why is that, you ask ? Cries of racism are the only defense the Left has. They can't defend their track record on any single issue. The economy ? In shambles, making Zimbabwe look a member of the G4. Afghanistan ? Slowly, but surely, turning into a quagmire. Obamacare(less) ? As popular as the fat kid with acne at the prom. The Bay of Rigs oil spill ? Made Bush's FEMA look competent. All in all, the United States went from the mighty Yankees to a Triple A farm club in less than two years under Chairman Obama's watch. Who could possibly defend that ?

God help us all.

Oh, Yeah ?

From Foxnews.com:

"The NAACP adopted a resolution Tuesday condemning 'racist elements' in the Tea Party movement and calling on the movement's leaders to repudiate bigotry, despite claims from Tea Partiers that the measure is just a political ploy.
The nation's leading civil rights group took up the language at its annual convention in Kansas City, Mo. The resolution initially said the NAACP would "repudiate the racism of the Tea Parties" and stand against the movement's attempt to "push our country back to the pre-civil rights era," though the wording was amended to downplay criticism of all Tea Partiers while asking them to repudiate bigots in their own ranks. "

Ok, they want to play rough.
Fine.
I'd like to do a little condemning myself. After all, we can't let the National Association for the Advancement of Communist Principles have all the fun.

I condemn....
  • our Dear Leader, Barack Hussein Obama, for calling his own grandmother a "typical white person".
  • Joe Bite Me, our confused Vice President, for making ethnic slurs against Indian Americans.
  • First Lady Michelle "Evita" Obama for calling a America a "down right mean place."
  • Imperial Senator Barbara Boxer for talking down to Harry C. Alford.
  • Imperial Senator Jim Webb using antisemitic campaign ads against George Allen.
  • Imperial Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid's racist comments about Barack Obama.
  • Arkansas's Horniest Hick Bill Clinton defending Robert Byrd's KKK membership.
  • Louis Farrakhan's many antisemitic comments.
  • Al Sharpton's  many antisemitic comments.
  • Jesse Jackson's many antisemitic comments.
  • The New Black Panther Party's act of terror at a Philadelphia polling place.
  • Jimmy Carter's antisemitism. (And, of course, I condemn Jimmy Carter for being a waste of skin.)
  • Hillary Clinton's support for the PLO.
  • The Congressional Black Caucus's visit to Cuba to have a pow-wow with the mass murdering Fidel Castro. (Let's start the chant, Little Havana! Libertad! Libertad! Libertad...)
  • Jay-Z's racist rant at Chairman Obama's coronation. ( "No more white lies...the motherf-ing President is black!")
  • The dearly departed Van Jones' anti-white comments and his accusation that white communities were "steering poisons" into the communities of minorities.
  • Franklin Dictator Roosevelt throwing Japanese Americans into concentration camps during WW II. (I will NOT use the politically correct term internment camps. Let's face it, they were concentration camps minus the Zyklon-B gas.)
  • Franklin Dictator Roosevelt using quotas to keep Jews fleeing the Holocaust from coming to the United States.
  • King Woodrow The Horrible, America's first fascist dictator (Do I really need to spell out who I think the second is ?), who segregated the Armed Forces.
MOST OF ALL, I CONDEMN THE NAACP, THE NATIONAL ASSOCIATION FOR THE ADVANCEMENT OF COMMUNIST PRINCIPLES, FOR IGNORING ALL OF THE ABOVE.

Needless to say.....

God help us all.
