Chanting For The Fuhrer

Let's put aside the creeping euthanasia known as health care "reform" for a second (Not that you can just put aside death panels and prison terms for not having health insurance, but I promise you it will be worth it.) and let's look at something just as creepy as grandma getting offed.

I'm talking about propaganda and indoctrination of children by Obama and his cronies.

Is it me, but in the the last couple of weeks, has it been revealed :

--that there were lesson plans that had children writing essays about how they could help the President and how "Barack Obama inspires them" ?

--that children were performing a chanting song in a New Jersey elementary school praising Obama ?

--children were singing Christian hymns that replaced Jesus with Obama ?

--there were nefarious plots by Yosi Sergant and the NEA to convince artists to help push Obama's leftist agenda ? (Using tax payer money, no less.)

Call me crazy (Or a racist since I have absolutely no intention in going along with the plan and that's the only way the left knows how to defend their schemes.) but is this in any way, shape, or form American ? Or does this stuff sound like it came from the Land of Beer, Pretzels, and Human Skin Lamp Shades ?

I know, I know, I'm a partisan right wing fringe type. I go home, put on my tin foil hat, and watch Glenn Beck. Got it. I have no other opinion other than the ones given to me by Mark Levin, Rush Limbaugh, or Sean Hannity. Got it.

Honestly, what is the only explanation for any of this ? How can any sane, rational person possibly explain any of this ? Have we ever had children singing songs for a sitting President ? Were children singing songs for FDR during World War II ? No. JFK during the height of his considerable popularity ? Not on his watch.

Folks, this freedom thing is everything. Once it's gone, it's not coming back. There's a reason those Army rangers scaled those cliffs at Normandy. There's a reason those Marines raised that flag. There's a reason young men damn near froze to death at the Chosin Reservoir. There's a reason thousands of young men went to hellish jungles of Vietnam to fight a war they didn't understand but chose not be cowards like many of their friends did. There's a reason why an all volunteer military threw Saddam Hussein out of Kuwait. There's a reason why the best and brightest took down Saddam Hussein for the final time. There's a reason why so many are fighting and dying in Afghanistan today.

They didn't want to live like this. They didn't want to live in a place where children sing songs to the Leader and are brainwashed.

Do you want to live like this ?

 

Idiocy, Thy Name Is Liberalism

Recently, as part of a conservative black ops plot, I parachuted behind enemy lines and logged onto the Huffington Post.

Good Lord, do I need a shower.

Will Bunch, author of "Tear Down This Myth", has penned an article titled "The Real Reason They Want Acorn To Fail". In this article, Comrade Bunch tells a heart rending story about Hector Vaca, a poor ACORN employee who was laid off because of the expose' done by the New Woodward and Bernstein, James O'Keefe and Hannah Giles. He then waxes eloquently about ACORN's humble beginnings and the great work that was done on behalf of the "poor". Bunch even says this gang of criminals ONLY received 53 million dollars over 15 years. (Dontcha just love it when liberals say "only" when it comes to taxpayer money ?)

How on God's green (not to mention cooling) earth can anyone possibly defend ACORN ?

Never mind the videos made by "Those Pesky Kids" (I used that Scooby Doo reference long before Glenn Beck ever did, but not really the point here.), but what about all the allegations of voter registration fraud across 14 states ? What kind of damage has been done to our Republic by this "organization" ? We can all hope and pray that US Attorneys are being truthful when they claim that no fraudulent votes were cast and that this did not affect the '08 elections, but how do we really know ? How can they possibly know ? Are they going to go over every voter log in the US ? No.

Of the "paltry" 53 million dollars that were scammed off of Uncle Sugar, how many ACORN endorsed candidates received campaign donations ? How many thousands of state and local elections were decided by this ? (Need an example ? I'll give you a hint: He was a lawyer for ACORN in 1995 and taught some of their leadership classes. Today, we call him Mr. President. In '07, they donated $800,000 dollars to Mr. Yes We Can.) Well, like my GrandPappy used to say before Dr. Emmanuel ordered the life support turned off, "Where's there's smoke, there's a fire."

While we're at it, how about those "poor" folks ACORN supposedly helped ? Does anyone question how they help the "poor" ? Through quasi legal blackmail and extortion. ACORN's lawyers threaten lawsuits under the Community Reinvestment Act of 1977 (Thank you very much Jimmy Freaking Carter ! Being the worst President ever just wasn't enough was it ?) and then ACORN's redshirts show up and cry racism until banks start handing out loans to anyone who passes the "breath on the mirror test". Can we say SubPrime Mortgage Crisis ? Yes We Can !

Oh Those Pesky Details....

(Webster's Ninth New Collegiate Dictionary, 1983)Is it me or should no one stand too close to Barack Obama ? This guy just has the worst luck. What did he do, break a mirror while walking under a ladder ? I mean, this guy has been victimized by coincidence after coincidence.What were the odds that he would spend 20 years in a racist church headed by Jeremiah Wright ? That can't be his fault, right ? It must be that right wing conspiracy that got him all wrapped up with disgraced fundraiser Tony Rezko. What were the odds that Obama would be saddled with a board appointment with a domestic terrorist like Bill Ayers ? Astronomical, right ? Whouda thunk it that the Obama campaign would pay 800,000 dollars to ACORN and they would be indicted all over the country for voter registration fraud ? After all, he had leadership classes for them back in '95. I'm pretty sure Obama would have taught the difference between right and wrong during those classes, right ? It's not Obama's fault that two pesky kids (I can't help but think Scooby Doo and Old Man Withers from the carnival when I type that.) blew the lid off of ACORN and saved our idiot government billions of dollars. Is really Obama's fault that King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia is so darn short, he had to bow to be polite ? C'mon! Obama is surrounded by morons in his vetting department! It can't be HIS fault that so many of his constitutional appointments didn't pay their taxes or were under investigation. Can we really hold Obama accountable for the unconstitutional ones ? Surely, that Google thing is quite the mystery. How was the Messiah supposed to know he appointed an avowed Communist in Van Jones, a eugenicist in John Holdren, an animal rights lunatic in Cass Sunstein ? It's all a coincidence, citizens. Move along. No pay for play with Blagojevich and Roland Burris for Obama's old senate seat. That's right. Move along. Just a coincidence.If you believe that, I've got a bridge for you. Slightly used.

Glenn Beck: 2 Liberals: 0

Glenn Beck is on a roll, making liberals whine and cry at the drop of a czar. I must say, reading articles like "Glenn Beck has his first scalp" in the Huffington Post has been a joy that I haven't experienced since a certain community organizer was helped into office by a biased media.

Well, I'm going to hand Glenn another scalp: The Disappointment of Broward County, Fl, Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz.

I'm sure you've heard of ol' Deb and that patriotic objection she had to covering veterans by "hate laws". That sneer on her ugly puss when it was even brought up just made me want to stand up and sing the Marines Hymn. However, this isn't about Comrade Debbie's hatred of those who sacrificed life and limb for her right to be another liberal jerk who hates our country.

Debbie Wasserman Schultz (Socialist-FL) doesn't believe in the Constitution. She believes that the federal government can create "rights".

That's a heavy charge right ? Well, I have proof.

On a local PBS show called Issues, Comrade Deb was interviewed by Helen Ferre. Below is a small transcript that also appeared in Bob Norman's column in the New Times Broward-Palm Beach for Sept. 17-23. The interview was the standard normal human being-liberal psychopath health care debate until this popped up:

Comrade Deb: [After being asked what the rush with the health care debate was all about] There isn't a rush. We've been waiting all the way back to 1912, when Teddy Roosevelt first started talking about covering everyone.
Ferre: I wasn't there.
Comrade Deb: I wasn't there either, but we've been trying for a long time to finally cover everyone and MAKE health care a RIGHT, not a privilege. [Emphasis added by Your Friendly Neighborhood Libertarian, me.]

Wow. An admission to being a Progressive and a Constitution trampler in a matter of seconds.

The Progressive admission isn't as important as a US Congresswoman believing the federal government actually has the power to create rights. After all, The Declaration of Independence reads: "We hold these truths to be self evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.--That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed,...." Now, I'm not a lawyer, nor do I play one on TV. I even stayed at a Holiday Inn Express and didn't wake up as a lawyer, but I'm pretty sure the Founding Fathers didn't think rights came from governmental acts.

To be sure, let's check the Constitution before the liberals set it on fire.

Let's see: Section 8 of the US Constitution: Power to borrow money...regulate Commerce with foreign nations, among the states, and Indian tribes...coin Money and regulate value thereof...provide punishment for counterfeiting securities and current Coin...establish Post Offices and Post Roads...promote the Progress of Science and useful Arts...constitute Tribunals...To define and punish Piracies...To declare War...to raise and support Armies...to provide and maintain a Navy...calling forth the Militia...organizing the militia...Seat of The Government of the United States...to make all laws which shall be necessary and proper for carrying into Execution the foregoing Powers and all other Powers vested by this Constitution in the Government of the United States, or in any Department or Officer thereof.

Section 8 deals with the powers of the Legislative Branch. Now, is there any part of it that gives the feds the power to make rights ? Nope.

The Amendments ? You ask ? Not there, either. (Not related, but aren't the first two really cool ?)
